  1. i dont get why people grnd thier altenators when there already grnded out to the motar srry but my opinion is there is no need to grnd the alt out

      We ground our alts because it's easier and more effective than trying to track down a bolt on the motor

      oh and FYI the alternator bracket IS the best and ONLY ground in the car, once it starts running...so you want a good ground back to the frame because like Skittles said, the stock grounding "strap" isn't big enough to support most large amps. The engine is on rubber mounts, isolating it from the frame. It needs to have an upgraded ground if you have an upgraded system....1000 watts and above (class D) and a little less on class A/B. IMO
