  1. IMO I'd say if money permits go with 15" CVR's instead. They take 500RMS. (Not sure on what amp you'll power them with.) They only have a mounting depth of 7 15/16" Your box might be a tad to small but I think it would work. The Polk's are nice subs. Didn't look into specs for those though...
  2. Okay I'm not a 'nerd' and no nothing about internets and what nots. But is this like my buddy used to download illegal movies online and the internet provider slowed his connection down till either he stopped or it was completely disconnected... He stopped when his was snail slow... lol
  3. Yeah, I think I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. Didn't know how nice this woofer is. lol I like it cause of its massive surround and 1.5" one-way excursion! But If I knew how to design a T-Line I'd try it.
  4. What size Solo Baric are we talking about??
  5. Okay pics on first post. Like I said this truck is an eye-sore lol But its a challenge so I'm gonna stick with it to make it look good and loud.
  6. I'm anxious to order. lol Can anyone help me with this??
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...0&viewitem= Are these like a conversion from stock sealed beams?? As you can tell they work with it looks like halogen bulbs in the 'projector' and a little bulb or whatev. in the casing. I'm just looking for something better than the hideous stock ones. For the money are they worth it? Or not? http://www.luminicsusa.com/detail.asp?p_Number=LKB-H04SF If that is a good casing for use would these be a good set of bulbs?? I'm going for a deep blue look. I don't wanna spend alot of money for lights so HID's are out of the question.
  8. Thats a good idea... lol I asked why so cheap and its cause they've had it over 6 months and they need to make room. But they are getting rid off all there audio gear really cheap. What year were these made in? I know its a 10 but with a Fs of 26Hz make this a good low end monster with a quality box?? I've just never had any experience with Eclipse woofers.
  9. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...product_id=2002 A local Pawn shop is selling one in a vented box for $200. Its a D4 coil config. But the box is a prefab which will probably be tossed. The woofer itself is in excellent condition. DMM checks out good. Is it worth it??
  10. I'm sorry but you must not know nothing about Supras. They do low 13's for being stock. 1000HP Supra??? Slow??? Watch and learn name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
  11. Rusty: What 15's was you running and what kind of power? Nice truck to! I am looking at the Sausage build now, my S-10 is done just like that! so that set-up type is what I have to work with... Do these types of vehicles meter well??? a bunch of CVR's maybe?? IDK??
  12. HAHA!!!!! That would be intense. Maybe to intense for me. lol Is it usually cheaper to go with a bunch of small woofers like 12's or stick with 18's???
  13. Okay so I'm posting this in off topic cause I need some info on this vehicle. Its a 1987 Chevy S-10 single cab truck with a topper/camper whatevers its called on it with a completed blowthrough. I'm buying this truck for $300 cause I know the guy and he was just going to sell it for scrap.. The guy had 6 12's in it before so its sorta 'ready' for a system. Some of the old wall he had is still intact. Does anyone own a truck of this year with a blow-through?? I need opinions on what to put in it. I'm open to whatever. Its not in the greatest condition lol but its a truck that is a project that I'll slowly build on. I'd use it mainly on Friday nights and what-not so I will probably go for low and loud. What would be the best type of set-up for a truck like this?? Thanks for any help! Yeah, I know pics suck. On the last one on that window its rubberized under-coating on it. Seems that the last owner didn't finish with the last part lol

  15. If your gonna run Orion products, why not just stick with them? IMO and if money permits go with an Orion HCCA. It handles 2k RMS. Be a little diff. from everyone else.
  16. Yeah I hear all that to. Thats why I put up the Hifonics Bxi 1608D... At 2-Ohms it does a supposed 1100W. If it is under-rated you'll still see roughly 900RMS at 2. IMO people that say they are 'Trash Amps' don't know what there talking about. :01nocomment8so:
  17. Here are 3 diff. choices you might wanna look at. Don't know how you feel about the brands but yeah. They are under your price range to. Personally I'd go with a Rockford Fosgate though. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9552_H...+TXi+1508D.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12211_...+BXi+1608D.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11795_...+KAC-9104D.html
  18. Pics of above mentioned 'SPL' Eclipse??? Either way I bet this Eclipse gets plenty loud! The set-up in your S-10 is a nice little one.
  19. They are the same ones that I showed you. Either way, they are wayyyy better than your Thunder-Pro's.
  20. What size are the Thunder-pro's again? IMO They are the best bang for the buck woofer out there. It would be a substantial gain in loudness and maybe SQ from what you run right now.
  21. If I were in the same situation i'd do the same thing. Of course giving a false name and what not. IMO you guys that said snitches get stiches are nerds. Just let it be. But yeah...
  22. We have a 99 Ford Ranger with a 3.0 V6, 5-Speed man. The problem I have is it started pushing most of the coolant into the over-flow tank and out into the engine bay. At first we thought it was the thermostat. We pulled the theremostat out and it was corroded and it was stuck either open or closed. That didn't fix the over-flow problem. The coolant is at normal levels we don't over fill it. What else could be the problem? It only sprays out of the over flow tank at speeds above 55MPH or at around 3-4000 RPM... Could it be a overly corroded water pump and requires changing? Thanks for any help.
