  1. quick question... is this still considered a trunk car even though the port comes into the cabin? oh and when people said NEO 10's, I thought it was a joke lol
  2. you still driving it around? I'd love to get a demo. a buddy of mine thinks his 2 15" memphis subs are the holy grail is systems and want to see his piss himself
  3. I'm confused. I've seen these available for sale on another website that sells sundown stuff
  4. I was thinking the same thing but what was the mobile unit behind him? maybe that's something for the homeless to clean themselves up and shower so they can try to go out and better themselves. the guy said he didn't have anyone. if he does have any type of non direct family around and they won't help him out that's just wrong. it's not like the guy randomly got addicted to hard drugs, lost him job, and is addicted to crack. he lost his family to a drunk driver which is obviously a HUGE blow to anyone and he lost track of everything. He didn't really do anything wrong. hopefully some company will see that video and try to track the guy down and give him a job. he deserves it
  5. that works on cars/trucks with super short roofs like singa's wagon. Have you seen the size of the roof he has to stop flexing? He would need multiple poles. and where would he mount them on the floor? he has 2 bench seats. I mean if he was able to seat off the steel he built on the headliner from the outer skin of the roof then there wouldn't be any problems. well at least with losing db's and musical response

  7. I forgot about this thread. I went with the security job. I'm not looking for a career right now, just a job to make ends meet as I attend college. The job starts at $11/hr for REALLY simple work. I'll be on call for the first 3-4 weeks but they still pay $3/hr for the hours you're on call that you do not work which I've never heard of before. The security job can definately turn into a career if I wanted it to though. The head of the company I'll be working for started out exactly where I am, but now makes 6 figures a year. If that's not making a career, I don't know what is.
  8. idk what kind of bike you have but these are all the lazy boy of bicycle seats http://bontrager.com/model/07191 http://bontrager.com/model/07730 http://bontrager.com/model/06535 http://bontrager.com/model/06374
  9. I'm not good at working 9+ hours straight which is one of the reasons I'm not leaning towards the dispatcher position. plus the security guy called me today telling me to come in on wednesday to take the test and start training classes on thursday
  10. I go for a psychological exam on wednesday for the security job. should be fun
  11. I should have been more clear. They don't start out at $45k a year but after 2-3 years that is what they make. For some reason my city pays it's fire departments really well. The firemen average around $65-70k a year. Makes me wish I wasn't so lazy. I just want to know what I'd be getting into as far as the dispatcher job I make less then $8/hr now, work shit hours (~10/11 - 6) and am guaranteed not to get a raise or promotion EVER. well the only person who makes more then me makes $2 more an hour and has been there for 7 years so.
  12. how does it blow? I'm not going against you since you've done it and I havent, but it seems like a pretty tits job. Sit in a car and drive around parking lots. Can use my iphone and listen to the radio all day long. doesnt seem too bad
  13. you have any idea what you're going to do to stop the doors from flapping?
  14. So I have a couple of job opportunities and a dispatcher for a local fire station is one of them. I'm just wondering if anyone on here is a dispatcher and how they like it. It's either a dispatcher job or security at a hospital. I have no idea what the security job pays but the pay does include full benefits and it's basically being parking lot security. SUPER easy job. It's for the day shift (7-3) mon-fri which is exactly what my girl works so that's convenient. the dispatcher job pays around $45k a year but is 4 12 hour days straight and is much more involved, even though I'm not sure exactly what goes on which is why I'm asking if anyone here does that job. which job would you guys go with? Oh and I just worked 49 hours last week and took home $297 so either job is a HUGE step up!
  15. Come on where are all the computer geeks? This has to happen by tomorrow morning or the guy is going to go elsewhere. I don't want to pass something up that could potentially be a great deal
  16. So this guy is willing to trade his 15" macbook pro for my 32gb iPad plus $100 cash. I am a complete noob when it comes to Macs. My HP latptops charger just shit the bed for the 5th time last night and I really want to try something new so I'm thinking this would be a great trade but it seems kind of fishy to me (too good to be true). here is what his craigslist ad says I have a very fine 2008 Mac Book Pro 15-inch Unibody laptop. The computer is in great condition with a very minor ding on the bottom case. The ding does nothing to hinder the laptop from working perfectly. All of the drives and ports work flawlessly. The display is bright (extremely!) with no dead or stuck pixels. This model MBP has both the integrated and discrete graphics for improved performance. The battery holds a very good charge and it comes with the MagSafe power adapter. One quirk, as you an see from the pics, is that this MacBook Pro has a dual English / Korean keyboard. I can supply higher res picture on request. This is covered under AppleCare until July of 2012. It's currently running Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and I have a BootCamp (dual boot) set up with Windows 7. I can leave that as is, or I can reformat to a fresh Snow Leopard. Your call. Hardware Overview: Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,3 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache: 3 MB Memory: 4 GB RAM Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz Boot ROM Version: MBP53.00AC.B03 SMC Version (system): 1.48f2 I have one friend who is telling me from the specs, it's a great machine and is well worth the trade and another friend telling me it's not worth the money and to sell the ipad and put the cash towards a PC. I already have a desktop pc and the hp laptop (just no charger). Help me out here guys. Is it a fair trade on my part or should I sell the ipad, save some more money, and spend it on a newer/better Macbook.
  17. what because the guy didn't take a minute to look at each website and find out for himself? It's not rocket science. The tire site recommends those tires belong on rims that a re 7-9" in width. The rims are 8.5" wide. Again, not exactly rocket science
  18. You can never understand the sheer size of the magnet on these types of subs until you mount a 10" basket up to it
