Posting this from my new favorite gadget, the iPad. I decided to buy myself a 1 way ticket from Boston to LAX. It's my "open ended vacation". I'm only 22 and wanted to see how life out west is. I have a lot of figuring out to do as far as my life goes. Moving out west has always been something I wanted to do. This little trip will hopefully figure out if I want to stay in new England for the rest of my life or make the commitment and pack up and go west. I'll be staying with family for the time being which is great. Their house is about 3 minutes from the Hollywood Bowl so I'll be in the heart of it all. If anything, it will be a great time away from normal life for a little while. Just felt like ksharing this with some people. Anyone know of car shows in the LA area this month???

Get hondabond and a new cam seal while your at it. Should only be a few bucks. Just get everything new from Honda. Spend the few extra dollars but never have to worry about a thing Oh and yeah put tape on each plug wire and number them if it's your first time. They should be in order from shortest to longest but better safe then sorry!

adjust the pushrod forst and if that doesn't work then I believe the only way to tell if the clutch is bad without being able to drive it is by taking the trans out and inspecting it. if you were able to drive it, go about 30mph, put the car in 5th, and floor it. if the clutch holds strong then you're good. if it's on its way out, then it will slip

explain not working right adjust the rod for the slave cylinder where it connects to the back of the pedal. I have no idea what your actual problem is but a friend of mine replace EVERYTHING when it came to his drivetrain from the trans to the slave and totally forgot to adjust that rod. had us scratching our heads for a week

I had a similar problem. 7th grade was when I discovered I could jump high enough to hold onto a 10' rim. Now I'm 5'11 and my hands are large enough, just not strong enough to hold the ball with 1 hand. but boy can I catch a pass and cock it back lol as far as training to jump higher, I found that using a jump rope helps with the quickness of your jump. just go back and forth from foot to foot and make sure you keep a steady quick rhythm. you could have all the power in the world and all the height, but if you don't have a nice spring to your jump, you won't get anywhere. when I was a freshmen in high school I won a dunk contest against a 6'8 senior who played b-ball his whole life, all because he had no spring in his legs. also look up ways to do calf raises at home if you don't go to a gym. also practicing on a Hoop with adjustable height will help you with the technique on how to dunk. I'd say start off at a height where you can get your palms to the rim, grab a ball and just start practicing. once you get comfortable at that height, move it up to the next one and just keep trying trying trying

Ok so I'm going on what I like to call an "open ended vacation" to Los Angeles on sunday. I'll be bringing my HP laptop and iphone 3gs with me BUT I really want an iPad for some strange reason. I already have a laptop and an iphone so it's kind of pointless. you guys have any other suggestions on what I should get for my trip? I'm staying with family so food, car, etc will all be taken care of.

oh I would keep the TV. in reality I paid $1300 for the car, paid $35 for 2 new tie rod ends, got 2 brand new axles for free, and installed it all myself. I'm not the type to add my labor into what the car is "worth". I just think $1200 is a score for this car in the first place. I should be driving it but I can't afford insurance right now so I'm driving one of the extra cars that my family has

my living room doesn't have a tv so I'd put my old one in the living room. I only paid like $350 for it 2 years ago so it wouldn't be worth selling. I told the guy that best buy has the tv on sale for $809 so he would have to add something on top and he asked me how much cash.. how much would be fair?

I've been trying to get rid of this car for 6 months now and it just sits in my driveway and haunts me. its a 1999 VW Passat that I'm only asking $1200 for (196k miles) someone emailed me offering me a 42" Sony Bravia lcd 1080p 120hz tv with blue ray player for my car. I have a 28" Westinghouse flat screen. I have another car I drive everyday. I was going to use the $1200 I wanted for the passat to put away to either move out or put towards a downpayment for a nicer car. idk what to do. I'd love to have a nice tv sitting on my wall but I'd also like to have that $1200 in my bank account. at the same time, there are a TON of tire kickers out there. I've brought the price down from $2500 to $1200 and still no one has actually come through with cash and this guy is serious about trading the TV and dvd player any input is welcome
