a charger is best, but not everyone has access to one. if all you have is jumper cables then jump it off and go for a long boring ride with everything off.

get a jump, then let your alt charge your batts. sounds like you just ran it too low. you should be fine with a jump

if its an 86 then its a carbed engine, none of those things listed will be on your engine. First thing is check for vac leaks, then check your throttle linkage. make sure that nothing is in the way binding up the throttle cable

i have the comps in my car now. i had them in my yukon, and i run 150rms per door and they take it like a champ. they sound good to me.

there allthread, and you can pick them up at home depot or any hardware store. i like using althread over 2x4's. but thats just my personal opinion. and i will be getting more pics up, but it's kinda slow right now. me and both my daughters came down with the flu. so progress has slowed down

dd 1515 or 2515 all day long. the 1515 if all your gonna give them is 750 each, but the 2515 if your gonna step it up anytime soon

i can tell you from experience. with a 4.6 ford motor do a catless x-pipe, if you want low down loud ass rumble then use single chamber flowmasters and dump them with turn downs right in front of the axle. and to whoever said use tailpipes with tips and it will be louder, sorry your wrong. it actually makes them quieter, but gives them a more pronounced echo. when you dump your exhaust towards the ground, assuming that your car is of average right height or lower it resonates off the ground and gives it a deeper tone.

i still gotta pic up a blade for my sawzall to cut out some metal around the opening. then i got to carpet the bax and start working on a mount for the amps

all trunk cars are different. unless you know someone with the same car all you can do is try. heres a few examples, my wifes alero does best with sub and port firing forward. i did a 01 grand prix and it liked sub and port back, i did an 05 cadillac deville and it loved sub up port back. all you can do is build and test.

man a suv gets louder then a trunk period. you can get a trunk loud, but it takes alot more work.

well its not done yet, but i'll post up the pics i got so far. im still waiting for my subs to come in. the equipment in this build consists of the car of course. a 89 honda prelude, 2 dd 9510's, a new dd m3, a dd c5a for the mids, and for now my t3 components. power wire is stinger 3/0. battery's will consist of a kinetik 2400 in the back and im not sure what i'll put in the front. so here are the first batch of pics enjoy.
