    well I was thinking 3 10's or 3 new 12's or some 15's I like the alpines they sound good in my car but everyone sometime sooner or later wants to be louder. I want harder hitting bass and louder I was thinking around a $700 budget thanks, dan

    ^^^^ Agree go with alpine the CDA-9883 is only a few bucks more and is imo way better of quality

    I have 2 now dual 4ohm in a ported box with a soundstream TRA 1400.2 got it bridged at 4 ohms the amp puts out 1400 rms my subs sound good and are kinda loud but I want something with some harder hitting bass I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on which subs to go with that would work well with the amp? also can the type r's really handle their rms well? thanks for any help guys. Dan

    what would you recommend for other 12's I like the alpines but I want a little harder hitting subs?

    I have a 99 mazda protege the trunk is not really big and I'm using (2) 12" Alpine Type R's and was wondering if I could go with one 15 and be louder any suggestions? thanks, dan

    yeah i thought about but the amp is brand new maybe I will take a look at it sometime right now I just have it bridged thanks alot guys for the info

    I checked it again and everything is fine I hooked the other sub up to the left channel and it work then I bridged my amp and it worked so the amp and subs are good all my wiring is brand new so I dont know what the hell is going on

    I would think it would have to be something with the deck maybe there is a switch on it that make it work that way i dont know lol

    I checked it all and the sub is wired good and power wires are good I have never had this problem before so I'M COMPLETELY stuck on what it could be

    I have the eclipse cd7100 head unit and a sound stream tra 1400.2 for my subs but only one is working when I take the left or right rca and put it in the left input on the amp the one sub works and if I try plug into the right one I get nothing could someone please help asap thanks, dan

    cool guys, eclipse deck will be mon. and the alternator should be here tomorrow,I'm getting real close to get this going.
