When I raced offshore boats, we had one of those things, with 2 12's fiberglassed in the rear, and a few sets of pro audio drivers, and 4 horns. It was very hard to get any bass response whatsoever. Of course, we were only concerned with looks. -

Sorry to bump an older thread, but I need to straighten something out with all these engine analogies... A 400hp engine can be faster then a 500hp engine. Not always, but can be. It's whatever accelerates the vehicle fastet from point a/b. I've had a Pro Stock engine make 66hp LESS yet be faster in the car. (yes gear ratios were taken into consideration) Think of it like this... Say your 500hp engine made it's power at 20rpm, and the 400hp engine made it at 8000rpm... Also, everyone talking about forged this and that... That shit doesn't make power, it SUPPORTS power. Just like OFC supports more power per linear foot.

Hopefully the XS rep or whoever can help me out. I need to find the best battery I can, and at the lightest weight possible. This is going in a Super Dirt Late Model that runs Lucas and World Of Outlaws. We were using batteries for small aircraft, Delta-T something or other, but can no longer source them. Basically I'd like to stay under 31lbs, preferably lighter, and with the most CA and AH I can get. Trust me XS, if you have a solution, your sticker will be on the 20ish baddest cars in the country, and nearly every race is televised. We also sell to many racers, and we're always asked about batteries. Put it this way- We pay 2k EXTRA for a magnesium manifold to save 1.4lbs of weight over center. I need this asap as the season starts next week. My cell is 941 565 156five if you want to call me. Thanks!
