whats your goal, what do you want to do with it.i would get a single 10" build a t-line and an amp that does what the sub recomends at max watts. a memphis sub is a great idea too

I think Earl Zausmer paid $15,000 for the B&W 15" drivers in his BMW. 15" subs in the kick panels and 7" pods on the dash.

i recomend using 2 12'' in a t-line

make sure your RCAs r plugged in all the way, I had noise in a car and thats what the problem was.

Have you looked into DD ( Digital Designs )I was a little nervous about using DD as my sub of choice for the fack that I am an SQ comptetitor. If I choose to beat up the block a little I change boxes and use A 12'' Memphis Mojo. another fine choice. Remember you don't need to sacrifice all your space to be loud. Choose the sub you want, ie. do more research, chech the specs on each sub, get opinions on different brands, then make an educated choice. Also remember that the enclosure has a lot to do with it. I prefer T-lines, for thier abillity to get real loud and they are super accurate. My recomendation would be a single 12" mojo or a single 12" DD 2512/3512 in a T-line tuned to about 39Hz. Good luck.

I kinda had the same problem... I just cut up my seats and made a tray IN the back seat and mounted my amps and cap IN it. procesor IN the floor in the back. and now I have all my cargo room to do what ever sub set up I want. probly gona do a single JL 6w3v3 6.5" or a ARC Audio 8d2 8". here is a quick pic of my amp rack IN the back seat with the amps and cap set into place

I am stepping down from the boom boom club, and focusing on sound quality now since I'm old. I use to drive with 8 10s daily then to a single 12, now the choice is between the JL Audio 6w3v3 6.5" subwoofer or the Arc Audio 8d2 8" subwoofer. What ever the choice is it will be in a T-line in a Trailblazer @ 4 ohms powered by the sub channell of a Memphis Belle 16-MCH1300 putting out 300 watts. The rest of the system includes an Alpine IVA-W200 source unit with an Alpine PXA-H701 processor. MB Quart QSC 216 6.5"s in the kick panels w/ the tweets at +/- 0. I also have MTX TS-1000 solk domes in the dash wired parrallel with the tweets in the kick but the dash is at -6 dB. There is a set of MB uart QSC 1646.5 mid-bass woofers in the front doors. Eclipse SE8365 6.5"s in the rear doors. The front stage is powered off of the Memphis Belle 16-MCH1300 at 4 ohms, while the rear doors are powered by a Memphis 16-MC3004 also at 4 ohms. I need help making the decision on the sub. I was looking into a DD1508, but I don't know if it would be as geared toward SQ as I am wanting. i love those tweets. My MB Quarts where to brite for me so I moved the tweets to the kicks with the mid range and the mid bass in the door. have the MBQ at 0 and the TX1000 in the dash at -6, nice and soft (silk dome) and blends great. and strong power wise. $40, tats a great deal... I would have bought them too, even if they where just gonna be added to my pile of un-used equipment, good buy!! but yeah just wire em up parralel wuth your coaxals, only prob has be stated no adjustability. good luck

build a t-line.... tune it to 11Hz, that way, an octave up or doun and you will be happy. you could play 1 cycle or 21. Is that low enough? I think you are pushing it just a bit. butt dud i wish you the best in your trials.

I did a t-line for an 8" MTX 4500, tuned it at 39Hz.... Nice!!! The response is better that a sealed enclosure, and the power efficiancy is amazing. !00 watts in an Envoy doing like 134.9 or something... Do it.
