called and spoke with bryan for about an hour. considering doing a zv3 15. i can go 30" wide 14.25" high we can play around with the depth theirs room to wiggle. thinking i can fire the sub up through the hole left by removing the factory sub that was in the rear dash and fire the port to the rear towards the trunk. any thoughts? might post up pictures later.

2 what? 2 sa-8's? if thats the case y not just wait for the x8's?

my current box measures 29x14.25x16 tuned to either 34 or 35. not sure. would 2 sa10's work well in that enclosure? could i fit 3 sa8's into a ported box of that similar size? say 30x14x16? should i just wait and get 2 x8's and build a proper box for them? im powering my subs with a RF T1500.

a little patience will pay dividends here. sundown is know for quality and customer service. im going with 2 x8's or 3 sa8v2's on a t1500. still not quite decided.

im going in on these. for my apllication this has to be the best fit for me. tight space to work with and t1500 begging to be used. cant wait. just hope these will handle the lows. my current 10's are worthless below 31 hz

why not just go with 1 t2 12? keep it all RF. t2 12's are nasty loud and low.

re audio se-x's dual 4 ohm. got em onsale for $119 a piece back in december on sonic e. was gonna get a t1000 to push em. went to the local shop and all he had was the t1500 so that what i went with. the re's really arent bad. ive been surprised

^i got my t1500 on 2 600 watts subs and im happy. very limited space in my trunk could only go 14 inches high, 16 inches deep and 29 inches wide. it all blends well. not sure what id do if these subs ever go. maybe some sa10's would work in that enclosure. heard they can really handle power.

i got mine for 350ish maybe 400 back when they first hit the market over 2 years ago. local dealer that sold em to me only had the punch 300 there that day and i wasnt patient so i settled. but, i ve been very happy. if they ever blow ill be getting another set or the t4's. amazing to me that RF, a company known for amp/subs, brought these amazing sounding speakers to the market.

or even better yet, T5's! seen t5's live and in person but yet to hear them excepts for " on the line". t4's seem more affordable for me but to fully appreciate them i'd need to invest in a new amp as well.

SO ready to see and hear the T4's!! somebody make it happen

just a short vid, showing the clarity and detail of the amazing RF T3 components. sadly I am underpowering these with only a punch 300 with 100 wrmsx2 @ 4ohm. But i've been very happy with these none the less.

looked on rf website. not sure i got enough room even for the 10's. oh well. i like how it sounds now just want a little more lowder low end. thinking the fi ssd 10's would work if the re's ever give out. cutout diameter is exectly the same.

yeah just had a realization. my box goes underneath a rear deck in the trunk. at the rear of the box i think max possible clearance is 14.5 inches. so 12's might be out the window. if the box could only be 14.5 inches tall that only gives me 13 inches inside the box. prolly not enough.

considered doing a single t2 12 ported off of the t1500 im running now. just thought it might be too much to handle. these t1500's are way underrated. currently running 2 re se-x 10 off the t1500 @ 1ohm and they are getting murdered. my installer says everything is in spec and my signal is super clean. just hard to believe 1 12 would be louder than 2 tens. dont think i got enough room for 1 15. its in a cadillac ats an the trunk is really small. current box is 29wide x 16deep x 14.25tall.

based on the space i have i think i could do 2 t1 10's in a ported box or 2 t1 12's in a sealed box. would run either off a t1500. which would you chose? i ve only ever ran ported and honestly never even heard a sealed box. sorry if this is a stupid question, still learning and just kinda going over everything in my head. my current system is all RF except for my subs. they are re's but looking to step up to RF's now that i got the money together.
