Speaking of repaired amps, anyone who has had a larger amplifier fixed 2000w+ did anyone ever notice a decrease in performance because of replacement parts or a inability to press the amp to its near max?

Yea i understand with the way amps are, and understanding what happens when theres a "blow out" it may have to have most of the board replaced considering you cant just switch out the 3 mosfets and expect it to output like before.

If i may ask what were the repair price? Sort of feel likes im taking my car in for repairs here, figure its something simple for repairs, but it could turn out being charged a "flat repair rate' for something that my cost $100 with parts and labor. Not saying DB-r is unfair just wondering, especially since the guy who responded to me didnt mention "hey it may be less if we find out differently"

What is DB-r's rep, has anyone had anything repaired from them of a similar "blown" instance? Told me $200 for half rebuild, or $250 for more than that. Direct from their assyst ticket. Feeling like thats a bit much. "It likely needs a lot more than just 3-4 mosfets, we only do half or full rebuilds here. Half on this amp is $200, Full is $250." Let me know guys.....

Yea cause voltage can differ from front to back over like 12ft+ Just would be a pain to run like another 10ft of wire from your trunk/rear to your dash for the gauge.

Where do yall have your voltage gauge wired into? I heard some would connect to view off their front battery, then some had theirs wired to their battery bank. I personally had mine wired on the battery before my amp. Whats the best place to accurately keep track of voltage? does it matter?

Dude was so upkeep about his girl, she treated him like shit, constant arguing, dude spent $$$$ on it. Killed his self esteem, literally i watched this kid incase of suicidal tendencies. Almost got kicked out of college becuz of her, he lost a $15 a job with potential for $20+ an hour wages because he slipped on his grades for the apprenticeship, inturn to be with her. She provided the kid nothing.... /And to think with such treatment one would want to still give up their heart and feelings to another human being on this earth in return for such treatment.
