in order to get the most out of the amp, wire it ' from one side + and - with a cable, then from the other side put a cable from + to the + of the amp, then a - to the - of the amp. that will give u a 4 ohm load, and with that colossus amp, u will be gettin around 2200 watts rms bridged

then the Rockford Fosgate Power T20001bd will be a great choice for you u can find it at http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2808_R...r+T20001bd.html sellin for around $750. i bet u could find it cheaper at ebay, but thats if u really trust ebay or u could also go with a Hifonics XXV-COLOSSUS u can find it at http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9356_H...V-COLOSSUS.html , sellin for around $700 which will give u around 1 ohm: 1600 watts x 2 chan. Bridged 4 ohms: 2200 watts x 1 chan so thats good if u plan on buyin another btl

thats what i was thinking would happend since there will be only one wire, and in the middle it would have 2 outputs for the amps. so basically all current flows to the middle, and not completing a full circuit. good thing i posted here before ordering my cable. i think im going with having a solid wire for batt 1 ----- batt 2. and from batt 2, have a run to a dist. block under the seats for the amps. bad thing is, ill be going to mex for a lil vacation so my proj. will be put on hold. and ill have some more time to think about the placement of things. any who, thanks for the help

oh yea man, i kno ill probably add one on the line going from bat to alt cus of the big 3, just a 80-100 fuse cus i got stock alt. any way, thanks for the help every one.

dunno if its been said but, have u checkd the grounds on ur stereo? or the grounds of the RCA in the stereo/fuses? like, the fuses from the pioneer stereos get burnd very easy and some ppl run a ground cable off the chasis from the stereo to the outer part of the RCA connector in the stereo. yea, its getto . but its an easy way to know if ur stereo got fookd and its sending the weird alt/engine noise to the speakers. if its messed up, try to get it repaird. hope it helpd

i would but u see.. what what happend was.. i cant fix the cars' trunk at the moment cus a lil water pours in when it rains, and its been raining alot lately here in Tx, so the amps are under my seats as-of-now, lol. homie cant live without the subs man so i came up with this plan cus, it would be a lil too much cable to run 2 straight lines from the back batt to each amp. and since one amp is only pushin the door speakers, im going with a 4 g. cable for the small one. damn... i cant decide now on how to run the cables... any other ideas ?

aigh so, hopefully this week ill be ordering my stuff to upgrade my wire to 1/0 g. , do big 3, and add the 2nd bat to the back in hopes to reduce light dim and have a better punch to the subs . but while i was thinkin of all the stuff i though ... if i run things like in the pic... will the 2nd battery in the back get charged cus the line from the front bat goes directly into the distributer? the distributer i plan on using is http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNF-23 cus it can take 2 1/0 g cable in, and 3 out. i was tryin to find one without the fuses.. but didnt find one cus ill still have to add a fuse to the alt *cus of big 3*, and a fuse to the rear bat. will this be ok? , or should i just run a straight wire from the front to the back bat., then from the back bat. run a wire to the dist... any help will be appreciated

the new hifonics amps and the comp sub look nice, i think its called colossus xxv, has a big-o magnet. and i guess im one of the lucky ones to have a good working bxi amp, cus mine hasnt let me down any time, but oh boy... it does eat some power, my voltage used to have a huge drop *from 12.4 to 10*, so i added an oltima and it fixed some of the problem. ill just wait some more and go with a bigger amp cus ive been lookin into them fi's... damn, they are some very sexy lookin subs! still havent really decided which way to go... i like to plan the whole thing first, probably every1 does. ill probably end up going with some higher-end hifonics for amps *and later move into the higher-end RF amps*, and maby throw in 2 bl's in the car.

yo, thanks for the replys! yea, i saw @ sonic that it was spankin new. right now i got the bxi 1606D runnin @ 1 ohm and it hits pretty good for its price, if not better. and gots to love the fuckin remote bass knob damn i wonder how many watts i be gettin then. i gots to upgrade my electric, but will try to do very soon (add 1 bat, and upgrade alt). but yea man, so far my Brutus amp has been great but i want to upgrade my system to hit a lil harder. its soo easy to get addicted to this shit man damn. once u go over 1500 watts rms... cant go lower, MUST GO HIGHER!! any comments about Power Acoustik amps?
