Thanks for the advice guys! Im sereously considering SE`s! But god damn there is not a single person here in norway (that i know of) Who has Fi subs! And ive grown quite fond in them, how everyone says they sound and how freekish loud they are! And as for the music i am into its mostly r&b - techno - metall! So im concerned about the tuning of the box, as how i have no idea witch tuning im goin for! I was thinkin high 30`s! Aleks.

Ok a little update here! The choice of amps and mids/highs is pritty much set! It will be UsAmps amplifiers and Hertz M/H. But im constantly seccond guessing my choice of subs, ive started to think about going dual SE10 or SE12 insted of single SX15! I dont know what whould be louder. The sub amp wil be the XT4000D regardless! either way im going with a slot port box!

You know that is the most used class here in Norway! Norwegian bass racers are pussies! They only compete in SQ over here and SPL! I think the current record here for the LOUDEST car is like 160 something. i mean low low 160`s! But in SQ we have like 2-3 world champions lol

Try taking a wire from your right channel rca ( dont have to be right) and but it on the connector and put the new wire on the chassie of the cd player! Bad grounded RCA`s suck! Try it out, had the same problem in the car that a bud of mine own! Did that and it cleared it tight up!

How is the SQ of the UsAmps XT 800.4 ??

Ive talked to scott before when i considered 2 ssd`s! And the shipping was like 200$ alone! BUT the famous kindness and awsome support of scott didnt let me down, he thaught the shipping killed and whould have thrown in free options on the subs! But again i whould have to buy a big ass amp for the BTL! And remember this is going to be a daily driver and possibly a little Golf mkll! So an 18" is out of the question really! But how coo whould it be to be the ONLY one in norway with Fi Any more suggestions fellas?

I was thinking 1 15" but ive been thinking about 2 10" allso! But cant make up my mind! And i was hoping someone could share their opinions on what to build! My budget is about 15.000,- NOK that is about 2600$. I want something that can PUND but allso sound nice doing it! Brands i have concidered: RE - Memphis - Rockford - Rainbow - UsAmps - Pioneer and Soundstream! Ordering from Norway so 15K isnt that much as i can get twice the gear for the same ammount of cash ordering from U.S.A!

Ok, so since ive got a job now! And still live at home (yeah i know) i have some cash that i can use on car stereo! All the old equipment is sold, the ap12rd`s are as good as sold, and my 1500wRms amp is sold! All i have is my beloved Pioneer cd player. But its allso getting sold to my brother who need a new player in his bmw E36 325i Cab! SO. Ive been looking for a new car as well since i sold my old golf! And ive been lookin into a new one, but that is a whole other story! The thing is, im buying some new stuff, and i was looking on giong for UsAmps amps, Resonant Engineering sub(s). Hertz Mids/Highs, Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine CD player. Optima or Kinetik Bats. And the list i have come up with is this: Sub Amp: UsAmps XT 4000D Mid/High Amp: UsAmp XT 800.4 Sub: RE SX15 Mids Highs: Hertz Energy 3-way ESK 163S.2 What do you think?

Thanks, yeah i was sky high when they told me the job was mine! Everyone at the company is fairly young and the working enviorment is awsome! At the first day at my job i get a brand new laptop and workstation! i start at the beginning og next week! Currently looking into buying a new car! And ofcourse a new stereo! Lookin into rainbow actually!

LoL, that sounds good for a stock system! We have 2 Mercedes and the stock systems in them are AWSOME! Sound neat! Even has tweeters in the a pillars and 6.5" mid on the door panels and 5.25" coax in the rear doors! Sounds really precise and deep:D

Well went to a interview at a big company called BnTv here in Norway today! I applied for the job as a technical customer support.... guy... And i was nervous as bloody hell! But it turned out GREAT, and i got the job! So now you are looking at the new employee at BnTv! Im am so stoked, ive been looking for that kinda work for quite some time now! And FINALY i got it! So this Saturday im gonna get really drunk and celebrate the new job:D F*** Yeah

You can be loud and hit deep too, in my opinion theres a fine balance! But goin apeshit with PA equipment and dont have the bass to back it up is kinda wierd and dosent make much sense:S But thats just my opinion, you guys might like it that way!

"stronger" is kinda cool! i think he is to hung up in doing things all brand new style, and its kinda annoying, not to my taste!

Dont know if you guys have seen it, but it was some sort of military groupe who was in some country just watching over stuff. And they decided to kill a few stray dogs with and MP5 smg! Just ran after the poor dogs laughing and shooting! If you are taking care of a problem, dont get all Counter Strike on them. I meen there are vets who can humainly put the dogs down, if the pose a problem. God damn, some guys dont have any respect at all of a life! Yes its an animal, but they live and breathe and feel just as we do....

Dog fights is fucking ... bah... dont have words! I remember i was taking a stroll down to the football place thingy we have here in town, and i see this kid walking his dog and the dog wanted to take a brake and rest, well he seemed that way, and the kid KICKED the dog for not walking! The last thing i remember is me running towards him knocked him over and kicked him in the gut. I was roughly the same age as him if you wodered! And the first thing i said was, how did you like it when i kicked you foocker! When i see someone hurting animals, except cats, i SNAP! And yeah i hate cats....

That sucks man! Well all i can say is, im freegin glad i didnt buy that amp man:S But hope everything works out!
