so what do u think these r worth? anyone want to make a offer? i got 2 of them. dude also dropped off a old lanzar optidrive amp if anyone has any info on that. -
ive actually installed a few of these and they r not too bad...sort of! if u r wanting a nice clean pic and touchscreen for your wifes car, they r great. the pic is clean, has alot of options and is easy to use. u dont have to ground any wire for the screen to always work, u can turn off parking in the setup menu. u can also set it up so the screen doesnt always go in when u shut off car. now for the neg., they dont have 5 volt out(i dont care what jensen says). these actually had less output voltage than my old ass clarion with 2.5 volt out! they have shit audio control so like posted earlier, an eq is a necessity. u get audible distortion very early when u increase volume.

the funny thing is that the people that "do know" started out as people that "dont know" at some point! -

No problem..now go get a m3ds simply. (i know u dont know what it is but do a yahoo search!) -
OK mounting depth on the sw4200 is 5 13/16 and the rms is 250.
-
Yup thats fine for them
-
damn i wish i could answer that! if i was at the shop i got the info...i just checked on fujitsu ten and they dont list the mounting depth. ill do some checking, if u can wait til mon ill give u all the info u need.
-
get the sw4200 they r 12s. funny thing ive found is the kicker ROUNDS get louder but at higher htz. they cant do the lows like the eclipse. the eclipse r totally a sq sub so there not geared toward getting crazy loud or being put in a huge ported enclosure like the kickers, nut even in a .75 cube enclosure the eclipse drop mad low and r tons louder down there! u will need about 1-1.25 cubes for the 12s though.
-
u should be able to fit the eclipse 4000 back there. i think the mounting depth is only like 4.5 inches and they only need .75 cubes sealed
-
thats gonna depend on enclosure...im sure they will to a point. ive heard them in a few enclosures and wasnt impressed but if thats all u can fit then thats it! i think in your situation u could probably fit a deeper sub but just dont have alot of airspace...if so go with a small enbclosure sub such as eclipse. even their 4000 series get loud and low but they have great sound quality also. usually if u get a little creative with your enclosure u can fit these under the rear seats in most trucks.

id do the ssd. unless u were putting the x in a t-line. ssd u def sound better hands down! -
they sound good for a shallow sub, not that great compared to normal subs. they are the best ive heard in the shallow mount sub line though. if u can fir a regular sub go that way. i would only use them if that was the only u could fit. ported or sealed. but usually if u need a shallow u dont have room for ported!

$150-200 sealed enclosure/ carpet, 400 watt RMS amp = $200-300 and pair of 200watt subs say kicker = $200, wire it all = $100. i would say definitly over priced seeing as we would do it for $800 tops. of corse this depedns on wich subs and amp but from want it sounds like they werent all that expensive.
