alright so i realized that my slave is going into protect. went and got some new rcas still same thing. redid all my wires still protect. so i unhooked everything and hooked it up to just one amp and it played fine.

if my grounds were bad my amps wouldnt come on would they. and i know this squeal isnt supposed to be there so im not going to turn it up.

yes they are both powered up. i would turn my knob up and stuff to see if its actually pushing out current but that 1 second squeal when it comes on through my subs makes me nervous.

idk these are brand new rcas but the ones i used from br out to br in are old. also how do i check the voltage to set gains i keep getting zero. do i hook the neg to the postive of the slave and the pos to the pos of the master?

hey i just hooked everything up today and i tryed reading the voltage of my strapped sundowns 3000ds and its reading 0 at my master. so i hooked my speaker wires up and turned the car on and i got the 1 second squeal out of my subs then nothing.....? need help guys not sure whats going on here. btw my amps are not in protect and have not popped any fuses.

ill add my stuff to the member builds in a couple days but for my first box it turned out alright other then my little mess up.

well me and my dad have been working on my wall parts at a time and today finally got it fiberglassed and painted. went to drop the sub in and the holes were right on the edge. come to find out in places the jigsaw blade bowed out and made it up to an half inch off length wise in certain places and didnt leave enough room for the t nuts. i know you think wow shitty circles but they really arnt that bad. neways going to have to man up and no longer recess my sub but put it on the outside of my 2 ply baffle. oh well shit happens nothing i can do about it now just thought id share my big fuck up to you guys see if you had similar problems before. reguardless itll just make my baffle stronger but i will loose a little aesthetic quality. should have some pictures up soon of the build. still gotta take my back door off and squeeze my box in.

i think you needa re evaluate the whole 4x4 thing maybe do 2x4s instead but either way its going to heavy as hell. if you just wanna make a wall hella strong fiberglass that biotch with some thick mat and some good glue and youll have a hard time breakin that shit.

just looked on an old table from science class and found this. Pine, White, dry 26 Pine, Yellow Northern, dry 34 Pine, Yellow Southern, dry 45 those numbers are pound per ft3. so a 4x4x9 is 1 ft3 so according to this chart a 4x4x9 will weigh around 45 pounds if southern.

i got that shit too. took away my start button and fucked my admin shit all up. booted up in safe mode and hadda open up everything with command prompt. took me about 2 hours all in all but didnt have to wipe my shit. its one of the worst ive ever had.
