Unless you have some one helping you, its easier to just ball up the plastic and blotch it,Try it on an old hood 1st. theres alot of technique involved.
I did at first, but it allows me to compete with lower end amps and subs I have less than a 1000 in my subs and all my amps.It evens the playing field and allows you to build a more efficient box insted of more expensive equipment.
Heres some pics of my box in the begining stages no tuning yet. Its a steel structure 2 layers 3/4 mdf tunnel and the box is an additional 2 layers thick. 4 DD 12's and as of right now its an alphasonik 1200 running all four of them.BTW I compete in MECA so I only run a 60 amp fuse and do a 145 at the Headrest.
My home comp uses a Tyan Board and 2 AMD 3800 processors and 8 gigs of ram,and I use a thermaltake aquarius 3 cooling system and mine full boar only gets to about 98 or 99 degrees,ofcouse when I crank the fan It gets noisy.
