  1. apparently a 10$ dmm is just as accurate as this, according to your FB buddys you can use a DMM to gain match amps with similar, yet probably less accuracy. But try to use a DMM to set the Crossover - it is a Crossover Calibrator that just HAPPENS to have a gain matching feature on the side....like a bonus. On top of that, it is faster. those idiots can stick a sock in it. thats what i tried to tell them.. lol, but they seem pretty adamant about it Try going to autozone or advance auto parts where capacitor and yellow tops are the GODS of car audio.
  2. well you look like a grandpa now
  3. get a college degree and find a good job?
  4. beat them with baseball bat and tell them if you see them again your gonna shoot them doubt they gonna snitch you out.
  5. Damn lol that other kid threw them apart like a hulk
  6. gonna throw it on charger, hopefully it will fix the problem
  7. its just to make sure they are fully topped off to provide the best power they can.. dont have to, but its a option so when you turn your car on, your alt doesnt go *wtf bish aint charged GOOOOOOOO* instead it will go *ok cool no issues here bro* LOl! @ atls talking... Haha! i figured it would make some one laugh! serious note.. take the 1/0 back off, and i can almost assure you, you wont have that issue... the stock wires wont allow that much current to go through, so adding the 1/0, it allows more current to travel through, there fore allowing you to pull more current than normal, and dropping the voltage even lower.. if it wasnt doing it before the 1/0, it wont do it after you take it out.. thats what it looks like to me anyways Forgot to mention, before I had 1 stock, 1 kinetik hc1800 and amplifier set with DMM Now I got D3100 and amplifier set with O-scope I will put 4 gauge back in to see if anything will change.
  8. BMW, stock alt is 120A, 0 gauge on the ground. Next step wll be upgrading an alternator, once the money is right.
  9. pretty sure if I charge it with regular charger once it won't hurt the battery
  10. It was just a piece of 4 gauge wire. No sensors around it. Since I don't have a agm charger, can I charge it with regular charger? Also, how long will it take to fully charge it? Voltage in the back is at 14 volts.
  11. There is older guy working there who actually knows stuff about cars, not sure about car audio, but referring to parts ect. But those 2 made me laugh today. Trying so hard to prove to me that capacitors work best when doing big installs
  12. Tried explaining to them that D3100 is one of the biggest G31 batteries, but NOOOOOO capacitors and yellow tops are better
  13. that was really funny hearing how capacitor will work much better then D3100. Only useful info I got from them was that my battery needs a charge.
  14. the sad part is that they are considered "experts" according to commercials
  15. According to Advance auto parts employees XS power batteries are NOT good for car audio. Went there today to test my charging system, and the 2 guys there started to teach me how xs power batts are crap and yellow top and digital capacitors are way better and I should get them. Also told me that 2 of the yellow top would be enough for my saz2500.
  16. I'm running my saz2500 with single xs D3100. Voltage drops to low 12's, because I didn't charge the battery when I got it.
  17. my K/D is ~1.2. M4A1 and nuke tubing all day
