  1. I just caught this mistake I made, the subs I'm looking at are 10's. I just caught that, and they're putting out 300 each. + I found an enclosure that would work perfectly. so should I still stick with the Kicker 750.1 or I think I could pull out enough cash for the RF 600.1? Which would be better?
  2. ISO: I went to that link and noticed the blowout on the sundown subs, those any good?
  3. Hey Solo, I looked on ebay and I found a nice RF eight-hundredx2 for a reasonable to me price, hows it sound? Stupid smileys!
  4. Thats awesome, I'm in Newton weekly. Thats what makes me want a smaller truck, so I could be there more often, a load of my friends live in Whitewater And where's Waldon?
  5. Inman Kansas, about an hour north from Wichita and about 3-4 hours southwest of Kansas City.
  6. This is why I love living in small town Kansas, none of that gangsta poser crap, heck, there are only 2 or 3 cars in this town that have the capability to bump.
  7. I dont got any of the top of my head but I gotta give props to footlongsam for that first song, its so nice to hear a rapper every once in awhile that doesnt rap about sex, guns, money and drugs
  8. Hmmm.. I'll remember that, maybe if it gets bad enough Steve will drive his butt down to Kansas and mow my yard for me. (and give me a demo)
  9. It's already been mentioned BUT I do believe it works wonders. CNC Wood cutting router. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
  10. Thank you for the words of wisdom, this coming from a guy who's 3 years older than me. But yes, bass = sexy but not as sexy as hot girls
  11. Sounds good to bad my dad wont let me take out the back seats. To do list: 1. Get a job 2. Take out back seats 3. Throw some BTL 18's in. 4. Buy big @$$ amps 5. wreak havok Ha, I wish seriously though, if I had a job, most of my paycheck would go towards the sounds system.. Bass = Sexy
  12. Weird isnt it? its to tall, my box can only be about 6.5" tall. and yeah, might be to small for a port, or if there was a port it'd be to small.
  13. That box is pretty sexy too, except I'd have to cut it because of that stupid whatever it is in the middle of the bottom of my backseat (see picture), but that'd be pretty easy either way. I was kinda looking for something ported or is there even enough room for a port? edit: any other box ideas?
  14. Thanks Here are the pics.. Head Unit Night Shot Under the back seat, on top of the hump is where the sub will go and on bottom for the amp. Man do I hate that thing. Can't put anything behind the back seats Front door panel and part of my LT jersey got into the pic too The longest portion of the backseat measures 36.5" long, 11.5" deep and 6.5" high. the shorter one 13" long, 12" deep and 6.5" high. Very limited space here, box ideas anyone?
  15. Thanks man, thats a sexy amplifier And for a system of the power we're talking about, what gauge of wiring should I use? (oh, and stock electrical will def. cover it right?)
  16. Solo_x18: n00b moment again, can I get a link to hifi? and also, with a 750x1 what would I have to do to wire that to 2 subs? splice em? Exposport: n00b moment #2, can you change the # of Ohm on a sub?
  17. Solo_x18: Nope, I have VERY limited room, I'll upload pics in a few. Quicksilver: since RF is rather pricey what would you suggest in that price range? I know Boss makes cheaper high powered amps, but I have no idea what quality they are. I really wish I had more cash to spend on this but I'm only 16 with a cheap paying job.
  18. Thanks, I was planning on investing in some of that, but I'm still wondering what size of amp I should run to the subs. Also the fact that the speakers aren't loud enough and cant hit some of the lows, that aggrivates me alot.
  19. Well, I'm pretty damn new to car audio, I fell in love with it watching Steve's videos on youtube. I have a 1998 Ford F150 extended cab, currently equipped with a Pioneer DEH-P4900IB head unit and 2 sets of Power Acoustik PR-573C PR series 3 way (200W) speakers in the door panels. the speakers would sound fine if it werent for my door panels, I listen to rap mostly and even when the volume is down it shakes the door panels and sounds like s***. custom panels are out of the question so I figured I'll just have to add some bassage. right now I've got a killer deal on a pair of Rockford Fosgate Punch stage 3 shallow mounts 12's, dual 4 Ohm (which I have no idea what the heck that means, if someone could help me out w/ that) and are running 400RMS each. I've looked through many amps but dont really know what I'm looking for. If someone could help me out with how big of an amp I should run, and also what gauge of wiring I should use. I'm currently running on about $150-$200 for an amp. If someone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. I tryed to give you all I could info wise so excuse me if I sound noob-ish
  20. "you're actually shaking the building in there, could you crank it down abit?" Priceless...
