  1. Yep, it sure is. My buddy Walt, aka Cookiemonster gave it to me. You can get bigger ones than that from Spiral Fittings here in SC. It is much cheaper than Aeros or precision ports and much sturdier. Definitely don't have to worry about this thing cracking or breaking.
  2. Yes, I tested with the sub and port back and it did 148.6. The best position thus far is Sub and port firing to the driver's side.
  3. Thanks Andy. I actually got the Idea from Yuli aka Tinted over on Term Pro Forum. Except his design was for two 12's My buddy Raymond aka Master Yoda is a Drafter and scaled the design up for my two 15's. It is quite a nasty little box. I plan on rounding the angle inside where the L meets and rounding the corners inside the box to get unrestricted airflow. My goal is to get 150 sealed on the dash. I am not too far from it now. I am open to any suggestions on how to get to that mark.
  4. Here is a little update to my new box. My sub started sounding funny and found out that the top sub had blown the rubber gasket out from under the sub basket and several screws were loose. I checked the sub and it is fine. I ended up re-tightening the screws and putting tape around the sub basket. I ended up doing a 149.6 sealed on the dash with the term lab at 55hz.
  5. Great Vids Steve. Door Panels turned out sweet. I like to rattle the crap out of The Sonics awning here in SC.
  6. Tahoe is looking great Steve. I wish I was able to come and hear it in person. I guess I like to torture my eardrums. lol. Do you think that you will ever come to SC? I know a lot of people who would love to see your Tahoe in action.
  7. Yes, both subs are running on a Sundown SAZ 3000D. I haven't tried subs up and port to the side. I turned the box so the port is firing into the driver's side. I did a 149.2@55hz.
  8. Hey guys! Well, I finally built a box on my own. it is not pretty, but then pretty doesn't always add db's. It is 4.13 cubes before displacement and 3. something after displacement. I still have a lot to do inside the box, but it did quite well without any improvements done to it yet. In initial testing, I was able to do 149.19db and at the show I did 149.2. I could probably do better with fully charged batteries. Not too bad for a small box. I have some pics. Tell me what you think.
  9. For the price, quality and customer service, Sundown Audio can't be beat. Congrats! Jacob.
  10. Welcome To SC man. Come down to Sumter SC and meet the fellas here.
  11. I heard it yesterday at NSPL World Finals. That truck is definitely a ground pounder. You can actually feel the bass with the truck all sealed up from over 10 feet away. There is definitely more in it.
  12. That carpet really snazzed the truck up nicely Rob. Looks nice, clean and MEAN!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Looking Damn Good Rob. I can't wait to see it again as well as get a demo.
  14. It didn't hurt me, I like the way Dj's truck sounds I am used to that kind of pressure. It would hurt someone new to this type of pressure.
  15. Derrick must like torture. If it is anything like Dj's truck, it will definitely hurt you. I know from experience.
