  2. My cheapass Craftsman table saw came with a guard and a splitter with "teeth" to prevent kickback. I didn't like the guard/splitter setup, so I took it off, but it sucks when your standing in the middle of the table ripping a big piece of wood getting blasted in the fface by mdf dust/chips. I guess it's a trade off... LOL! ALOHAZ, SKY
  3. I'll have to agree with the LV4's ability to get loud. I have a LV4 18" in a 6ft^3 box tuned around 35hz in my 1995 Chevy Blazer. For fun I strapped a pair of Sundown 1500d's to it and burped a 148.2db(rolling the volume). ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  4. I HEART DC AUDIO. I can't wait till I get my two LV4 12's in. I'm hoping they'll do better than my single LV4 18 off a little more power. ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  5. Do you mind me asking what size ports those are? ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  6. Do you live on Maui??? I noticed the stickers on the back of your Explorer, "DAKINE" and "Lahaina Side". ALOHAZ, SKY
  7. On behalf of Philip, we are from Oahu. ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  8. I've been trying to get a hold of you over the past few days through email, called the shop, and sent you a PM a little while ago. If you see this, could you please get in touch with me. I know that time is running out, so I wanted to know if it was still possible for you to do what we had talked about earlier. We will be in Las Vegas from May 20-25, so I'm not sure if that is enough time to get this done. Thanks again! ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  9. According to the website, 3ft^3 per and 4ft^3 per in spl applications. ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  10. No wonder I haven't been able to get ahold of you ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  11. Someone? SOMEONE!!! How about giving that "someone" a name, or even refer to that said "someone" as a friend. But SOMEONE!?!?! might be offensive to somebody. ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  12. Nope, but I do have a 200a Iraggi that I bought for my 2.2L S10 that I think will fit on the 4.3L Blazer. I didn't even get the chance to do the Big 3 yet I am currently in the process of selling the 15" and 18" LV4's that I have locally, so I'll be needing some new DC's soon. Rusty... YGPM! 13. Well, did a little testing today. Cut it short as soon as I started to smell coil Right off the back, my rear view mirror fell off What sucks is that I just reglued it(initial adhesive failure not realated to windshield flex). Did a couple of short "full power" tests and stopped. 1998 Chevrolet Blazer, DC Audio LV4 18" D2 / Digital Designs M3 / Kinetik 1400 rear / Optima Yellow Top front. Well, here's the best it did sealed at the dash car idling- ALOHAZ, SKY
  14. Lisa's House FTMFW! They got to hear the DC Audio LV4 18" tonight in the parking lot at the bar. Small kine sample session. Maybe it'll get a little more power in time for our next Term-Lab Session on the 27th ALOHAZ, SKY
  15. Howzit Brahdah Kimo, much mahaloz for the aloha! Anyway I've been following some of you and your teams threads and posts. I was at the bar with my friend Myron last night and Stetsom came up in our conversations. I think he said he was in contact with you about them. Anyway, the reason I'm gonna stick with the Yellow Top up front is for convinience. Having both top and side post makes it easier for me to incorporate my audio wiring without having to mess with the stock wiring.ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  16. Finally got me something with a little more space. Well, anything would have been an improvement from a regular cab S10. Anyway, I kind rushed through the box in hopes of getting it done to debut at a informal Soundoff last week Sunday. Well, the box got done in time, but the truck and the rest of the install didn't. It's a 1995 Chevy Blazer. Hopefully I'll be able to get the install done this weekend. DC Audio LV4 18" in 6ft^3 @ 35hz w/ 82.5in^2 port running off a US Amps MD2D backed by a Optima Yellow Top upfront(soon to be replaced under warrenty only 3 months old) and a Kinetik 1400 out back. 17. My bad, I wasn't trying to call you on it, just was saying, das all. Too bad, seems like he didn't even give em a chance. He claims it takes up too much room in his car/truck. He was having a hard time selling it because most locals a very weary of stuff that isn't "mainstream". Same with me, I like to bring in "new" stuff to try out and to hopefully spread the word about stuff other than the "big name" companies. But it turnsout nearly imposible to resale them since they are "unknown" to the general public. Good luck with build man! ALOHAZ, SKY
  18. There's a guy one Kauai that has/had a Fi Q 15" that he was trying to sell. Only had em for like 2 weeks or something and then had em for sale on forumshawaii.net. I think there might be another guy with Fi too on Kauai, but not sure. ALOHAZ, SKY
  19. Hauoli la hanau ma Hawaii! (Happy Birthday from Hawaii) ALOHA, SKY
  20. DC Audio Level 4 15" 4ft^3 @ 33hz with 58in^2 of port(14.5in^2 per cubic foot) This setup did a 143.3db TL in a Chevy Blazer with "stock" electricals on a US Amps MD2D playing music. It also did a 144db with no tuning in a Toyota Matrix with two batts on a RF T20001bd playing a sweep. Hopefully we'll break 145db with a higher tuned box sometime in January. ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  21. What amp are you running? Guessing by the sticker on your back window, I'm guessing an ED NINe.1. I have two ED NINe.1's and I was looking at bringing some Audioque gear to Hawaii too. ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  22. Rusty, are these gonna have woven tinsels??? Also, are you still using spring loaded terminals on the baskets??? ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  23. Rusty, are you serious about doing different colors? If so, do you have a sampling of the different colors available? I think I'm almost ready to retire my DD 3510d, and I'm wanting to go with a LV410 with the cf cap ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
  24. Is it just me or is the vid not working? When I click on it, it just takes me to the Photobucket homepage. ALOHA FROM HAWAII, SKY
