I want to paint some of my dash pieces.. i think i know how to do it but i want to make sure.. Thats the pieces i want to paint inside the black lines. Do I just sand it down and then prime it and paint it? is it that easy?

outside dim. are 40x18x14 and the smaller box is 37x13.5x8 the inside dim. would be 38.5Wx16.5Hx12.5L and 35.5Wx12Hx7.25L

im rebuilding the box monday.. can someone help me out and check the calculations on the slot port im doing... dont wanna screw this up again

would something like this work to? and the calc i got for the slot port are 3"x22"x11.25" would that work or is it to small

well i did add bracing to the front. made two poles connecting the font and the back.. i kinda am leaning towards making another box and putting a slot port on the bottom.

baffle the front? the box is 6 cubes

ive been thinking... hopefully someone can help me out. would it be better to just add a slot port to this box instead of my two 4" ports. i think i can make it about 4" high and how ever long and wide i need.

well i went out and boxed the box out a little away from the back of the seats and i didnt really notice an differnce in the bass for whatever reason. but im wondering now.. because i am putting bigger ports in. that since the box is like to smaller boxes together are the ports gonna be screwed up if there is a wall right behind them instead of being open inside the whole box. dont know if that made sense http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee307/b...12/SDC10113.jpg that pix shows the ledge between the two boxes, does it matter that the ports are directly facing that?
