i have mine on about 1500 watts rms and love it!!but on clean power i bet they can take more of a beating!!

i would double check that red wire you might have taped into a wire that shows up 12v for a certain time and then goes off.

i got two on two 12" DC lvl 4 woofers i got each amp for $230 so i think they are nice for the price i also have a kole audio qx1 3000d same shit and i also have a spl z1x3000d same shit too.
