I have two amps that I have laying around one does 300rms @ 2ohms and the other does 600rms @ 2ohms. So really I can use either.

But the Solo X's have drop in recones so its alot easier to recone than a sub that you have to align the coil in the gap, and using glue/epoxy and all that other good stuff. So that price isnt bad.

I was just wondering if the recommended box specs are about the same for the old Fi X 12's compared to the new ones, this sub is going in as a temp set-up so I will have a little bass. The box I came up with is 2.1 cubes after displacement, with 2 4" Aero Ports, at just a hair under 12square inches per cube, tuned to 36.xx Hz. It is for a single 12.

I edited my post.....it has one of the dead body trunks, still IMO it would be better for him to find someone local on here, shipping a Dual 15" box is gonna be really expensive.

What car do you have, there is no way in hell you are gonna have a ported box for 2 15's that is the right amount of airspace that will be able to be put into the trunk after it is built, the only way that will have a chance of happening is if you build the box in the trunk and even thats pushing it. Edit: Actually after looking at the trunk it could happen....you have a pretty large trunk however I still have reservations of it fitting easily, do you have any trunk opening measurements

I was wanting to buy a SAE1200, but before I make my decision I wanted to know if the SAE line is strappable....if not I will just probably get the SAZ1500, but I wont be able to order till my next paycheck......So does anyone know if they can be strapped???
