  1. I have a few tips *Glue is your friend, dont be afraid to use a lil extra *Dont go screw happy, you dont need a gagillion screws *When using screws I space em about 3-4 inches apart, also keep screws away from the corners at least 3in. *Either glass or silicone the inside edges of the box, to make sure you have a airtight seal. *Measure 5 times cut once *Clamps are also your friend Just a few I could thing of.
  2. No it wasnt that song, iirc it was Ridin In Da Chevy, by Juicy J and Lord Infamous.
  3. You could probably use the paper staples if it is on the carpet, probably wouldnt want to staple into the trim panels though.
  4. In FPS games alot of people prefer the Keyboard and Mouse, they tend to give more accurate control, In fact alot of people that play games such as COD WaW and Modern Warfare on the PS3 use their keyboards and mouse, however when competing are not allowed to use it, as it is seen as an unfair advantage.
  5. I know one time I posted an older 36 Mafia song, as a suggestion for a bassrace song at around 55Hz or so, and later found after analyzing it that it was just a sine wave with Kick Drums laid over it.
  6. If you already have an electrical system capable of supplying you stereo with enough juice that you have very very little to no voltage drop then you can use a Cap, it will smooth out the peaks(of voltage draw) in the songs.
  7. So your tuned at 35Hz so that means your probably peak at 41-43Hz, you could always use Jeezy Da SnowMan it peaks at 41Hz as well same as Airforces. Also Thug Motivation 101 is one of my favorites also a lil more constant then Air Forces, also peaks at 41Hz.
  8. If you put the system in your car, and when you are bumping if the lights dim or anything the cap will do more harm than good, A cap is only useful when you have absolutely no voltage drop.
  9. That is most likely a TermLab mic and the Software, it isnt exactly cheap, they work on basically any lab top given it isnt like a 90's lab top, they are about $650 for the basic single sensor with software. http://www.termpro.com/storefront/index.asp?Page=1
  10. Yes but the lower case L might look like a 1 to some.
  11. I believe he means he has 2 15" Kicker L5's.
  12. Depends on your box cubic foot, A general rule of thumb is to have 12-16 Square inches of port per cubic foot of the box.
  13. Or you could get 2 LVL4 with LVL5 coils, and another Kicker 1500 and call it a day. Edit: The birthsheet for my ZX.1500 was about 1760 iirc.
  14. My buddy has a MB Quart DSC.1000 class A/B amp and it pushes his Eclipse Titanium subs pretty good, power hungry little amp, though thats a given due to it being A/B.
  15. One sub I have never seen bottomed out is the Orion HCCA. LOL and just so yall know I know what coil slap sounds like, the guy that deals Diesel Audio in my town has a van with 3 sealed 10's in it, and they bottom out on anything below 40Hz.....No Joke LAWLZ.
  16. They can handle a shit ton of power, if you watch those vids of Beajays set-up they are hardly moving with about 7000 a piece, hence why he is gonna have 14K per sub for daily and 28K per sub for burps.
  17. LOL ya I know what you are saying, the guy commented about steve tucking the Pleather in, when Steve isnt using Pleather but is using Vinyl. And to Steve when you are saying you are looking through the Window saying you dont hate it, does that window happen to be located on the rear of the Tahoe?
  18. Pleather is the stuff most lower to mid cars use for the Trim in your car like the doors and center console box etc.... its the stuff that looks like plastic but is sorta soft, a mixture of Plastic and Leather= Pleather.
  19. That would be 8 guage wire, 4 guage is good up to about 1400rms, I would use 1/0 anything more than 1500rms, though it being a Lanzar amp probably wont do anywhere near 4000 rms. LOL, yes it is 2 1/2 years old, it is slow on the site........
  20. I will update this as I go through a few songs Young Jeezy- Thug Motivation 101(41Hz) Young Jeezy- Trap or Die(41Hz) Not as constant as Thug Motivation though. Young Jeezy- Jeezy Da SnowMan(41Hz) Wow do alot of Jeezy songs peak at 41Hz. Lil John- Da Blow(45Hz) Young Jeezy-Air Forces(40Hz) Flo Rida- Suga(40Hz) I would personally go with Thug Motivation or Air Forces
  21. I was just watching this a lil while ago LOL, still looks pretty damn clean even with the port bolted in, one of the best looking boxes I have seen, the only one that beats it off the top of my head is the Rubiks Cube Box LAWLZ.
  22. x2, He isnt looking for songs that just bump he needs songs with constant bass lines that are at or close to the peaks he stated, so before you post a song use Audacity and check it to see if it is at the Hz he needs.
  23. Me either thats why I was asking, maybe they have a 1600D in the works.
  24. Personally for me, if I was gonna get a AQ sub if I was gonna run 1-2K I would go with the copper coils, if I was gonna run 2.5K up I would go with the Aluminum coils.
