For the constant find something that gets power all the time, or just run a 14guage wire to the front battery......for the turn on you could connect it to something that gets power when the ignition is on, if you cant find the ignition wire, then you can run a wire to the fuse for the windshield wipers.

If its that sub exactly, I would recommend you get an amp that makes the power you need at 2 ohms...... I would throw the Optima up front, and get a D3100 for the trunk.....would also highly recommend a 240-300 amp alt from Mechman or DC Power, either company makes great alts and will give you 140-170 amps easy at idle.

There is a good amount of the Mexiflush retards around, its a college town, and it seems there are alot of people that come here to go to school(Alot of that asian persuasion), and the shop in town if pretty dumb, and sell pretty shit equipment, Im talking about subs that bottom out and distort on anything below 40Hz.....
