Yeah, I actually heard a Q for the first time the other day and I was really blown away....it ate up my other friends L7.....I was way more impressed than I expected to be.

Well, I am by far not a lawyer, but I did work for several insurance companies....I heard about a few instances of this happening where they took the person to small claim court and the judge did order him to give the money back at the time....however the person hit brought in a estimate from a known body shop and the judge ordered the people to cover the costs of that repair.....so instead of just getting his rear panel fixed and doing the work himself, he ended up getting it fixed and getting a full paintjob for his explorer cause the paint color didn't quite match when they painted his rear panel...that person who hit him got their money back initially, but two weeks later paid about 6x the original bargain...LOL, i love it....karma is such a bitch.

eh, i have always been more of a tech 9 kinda guy, but the game is ok...i like some of his stuff....50 gets boring cause it seems like he always raps about the same thing, p***y and guns, lol.

I actually really like the RF 6x8 power series speakers...that is what i am thinking of runing in my F150 in the doors, and 6.5s in the kicks.

audibly, they may have a few tenths of dbs on them, but they wont sound quite as good and get no where near as low.

I would build one, unless you can find one to the ssd specs. having it in a crap box will do it no justice.

I would try for the SSD also with that budget. I have some RF P3's in my truck, not to bad if you aren't rough, the ssd would be louder and could take a better beating. i like my p3's, but i know there is better out there...even for that quick crap install in my work truck. but, out of the p2s and p1s, i would do the p2s....was not impressed at all with the p1s.

Almost sounds like the best bet would be to find someway to retro fit a dual alternator setup into the truck rather than trying to get one large alt. Thanks for all the input.

2008 4.6L V8 F150.

I am planning on running my first "big-boy" system very soon and will obviously have to do the needed upgrades first. I know my main amp will be a RF4000 in order to push 2 15" BTLs....with a small possibility of upgrading to two RF4000's in the far future after i learn more. I already know I need the big 3, some good deep cycle batts, and a new alternator....but about what size alt would be good to go with? Also, who makes some good alternators?

Yeah, that motor and magnet do look much more beefy than the BTL....
