yes, its as tight as it can go. i forgot to get AA so i'll try to take some out of a remote and take them real quick. but all it was supposed to do is be like a cheap IBeam. a very cheap one.

if i had the money, i'd buy an IBeam or 2 for myself. those things are sick! buutt i don't have the money. so until i do get money for a decent system, i'm gonna sit here like this , watch this build log as it gets started, and drool. thank god for bibs!

so either 1 4 channel amp or 2 2 channel amps? GAH! i hate figuring it all out.

so i was just thinking, since my box will house 4 12"s isobaric style, i need to use push pull, correct? but if i just have a mono amp, i can't do 2 push and 2 pull, can i? if not, should i just get 2 seperate 800W amps so i can wire each set of 2 as push pull? i kinda think that the 2 800W amps would be better. grant it, maybe not as sexy, but i'm not goin for looks.

it was supposed to add "bass", like it did in the backpack thing. it sounded okay in there and taken out it was okay, but on the bottom of the chair, it sounds like a fart.

well i can't find 2 AA's so i'll get some tomorrow at the store. but for now, this is a pic of what someone else did and mine looks almost the exact same. it wasn't worth it the time.

once i can find batteries around this freakin house, i will get some up. how i don't have 2 AA, idk.

so i had this backpack thing called an Aura Interactor. it had one of those counter weight thingys in it. well it was working fine in the back pack, and i saw someone put it on a computer chair. so i tried it, and i've spent the last 45 minutes of my life taking apart the chair, screwing these things in by hand (my battery to my drill needs a charger, and i haven't gone to the right store to get it yet) just to find out that when you turn it up, IT SOUNDS LIKE A BUNCH OF FARTS! when the bass hits, you feel it a tiny bit right between yo crack but other then that, it sounds like a fart. great, eah? i'll get pics soon and put them up so you guys can see what it looks like.

alright, so 5 hz above. no problem. now i still have awhile so i can figure out measurements and whatnot, but i just thought that it'd be a pretty sweet idea.

you know, that's not a bad idea. have sealed and ported, all in one box. but how would i go about the wiring? like shouldn't i have it push-pull so they don't interfere with eachother?

well, i'm going too when i get 4. but i can't seem to get ported specs for the HFI12D4 subs. so i can't really do ported. plus i'm not doing the box. someone else is doing the box design for me. i just have to build it.

lol. i wouldn't mind seeing that video. just put like some clear foil on it and let it wang. that way it won't damage the speaker either. but meades would cause it to create some kinda REAL monster. lol

yep. under Off Topic, i have LOOK WHAT I PICKED UP! i have a 6.5" woofer i picked up that i'm gonna use it on. it's poo and i was gonna blow it, but i figured i'd try this first.
