i cut 1/2 inch wooden dowels so that they fit in the corners. then position the box so its sitting at a 45 degree angle then pour resin in and let it dry to that form. or you can do it with just resin. saves resin with the dowels.

yea it would be fine. make sure you do some 45's to keep the air moving though. makes a big difference when using round ports.

gotcha. sorry for the pointless explanation. what do you mean by under the subs in the middle? you mean just on a different side of the box? if so, then yea it should be fine. might actually give another .2 db or so just cuz it would be bouncing off at a different angle.

what is the cubic feet of your box. you will want 12-16 sqaure inches of port (the port opening, if the port is 5 inches by 7 inches then that is 35 square inches of port) PER CUBIC FOOT. ^^^^thats a baseline number but it is usually right on point for optimal results. so do the math. find the square inches of each port then make sure you have 12-16 square inches per foot. if you have 2 cubic feet then you will want anywhere from 24-32 square inches of port. what kind of subs, amps btw.

the only amp out of those that is about right on the ratings are the audioque's. sundown, DAT, and rf are underrated. don't get me wrong the DAT would be a great amp for those but if you're wanting to give close to 2000 per sub then the 2500.1 just won't be able to do that kind of power.

they are all pretty busy. i would suggest dc power, stinger, mechman for the three i would go with. the stingers are overpriced but are very stought and reliable. DC power is my top choice though. try giving them a call. or put a post in their sections on here.

yea its probabl better anyway that you get your electrical up to par before you upgrade. have you contacted DC power, iraggi, ohio generator, excessive amperage, stinger, or db linc about an alternator? edit: forgot about MECHMAN alternators. i'm sure on of the listed companies can get you an alternator

what kind of voltage do you have? i would look into a sundown 3000d, audioque 3500d, RF t3000 all of those would give you at least the 1800 you are looking for.

have you clamped your hifonics amp? it should be putting out about 3000 rms. but your coils don't match up with the ohm loads of the amp very well so..... you would probably be better either getting new recones to d2 so you can get all the power out of your amp (3200 rated at 2 ohms) or get an amp that does 3000-3500 at 1 ohm and wire your dual 1 ohms in series to pull a total 1 ohm load for the pair.

when you get the new subs we will be happy to help you but if you just keep making pointless new posts to answers you already know then you're going to piss off some mods and get the boot. let us know when you get your subs and we will answer any questions about your box build.

we told you this last nigh about 10 times. THEY ARE DIFFERENT SUBS ALL TOGETHER. IF YOU ARE SO WORRIED ABOUT WHY THEN CALL FI AND MAYBE THEY CAN CONVINCE YOU THAT YOU DON'T LISTEN FOR SHIT.

at 1 ohm it will be way to much for them. you might want some level 5's

Yea. i've always heard he was part-owner. but he absolutely knows about the differences in these subs and if he doesn't recomend it then its not a good idea. are we there yet? but why? are we there yet? but why not?
