  1. i have an AQ 1200D with a yellow top, Big 3, and my stock 130 amp alt that amp will push it great, very good amp for the price.
  2. i used to have an old beater car with busted out windows (we used to jump curbs n shit in it, FUN) didn't want someone to steal it so.... i wired a toggle switch up under the front fender so when i walked by to get in the car i just flipped the switch and it was ready to start. same for when i got out. just flipped the toggle switch back and it wouldn't start.
  3. yeah sounds like the "park, neutral switch" try this. run a wire directly off your starter(or just hold it on there temporarily) have your ignition on. and then touch that wire to the positive on your battery. if it turns over then you just narrowed it down to the park, neutral switch. a buddy of mine has an old 4 runner and thats how we bypassed his switch to get it started.
  4. do you have a local junkyard around you? those 4.3's are very common in chevy vehicles and are all over junk yards.
  5. "pop test the woofers" run the + and - speaker wires to the + and - of a battery to see if they "pop" i like to use "d" cell batterys so i can do it right in the car. its also a great way to check for phase woofer pushes out = in phase woofer sucks in= out of phase
  6. the one thing i like about round ports is that you can make them as long as possible in the box and then cut them down to tune them to ear (frequency of the vehicle) fairly easy.
  7. thats what i was thinking. ya'll remember when these and AA avalanches (still one of my favorite woofers) were the fn sub to have? edit: can't type
  8. eclipse T.I. TC sounds http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/...80010_large.jpg i'm leaning toward the eclipse because of the magnet cover plus the eclipses were triple stacked mags and the tc's had mostly quad stacks.
  9. so out of those its either the TC or eclipse (same thing) i believe the powerbass subs looked similar but the speaker terminals were all on one side instead of one coils terminals on one side and the other coil on the opposite.
  10. yeah TC SOUNDS. audio pulse is the NEW company. :01nocomment8so:
  11. he said it was a year and a half ago. that rules out ANY audio pulse.
  12. those weren't around a year and a half ago. those a fairly new.
  13. yep tc sounds or maybe the old eclipse t.i.'s (can't tell with the glare in the box) most likely the tc
  14. it's right and it'll work but that fn sketchup is confusing. took me a couple of secs looking at it. looks good though.
  15. yep. thats what i had to use on mine.
  16. did you do the spacers for better airflow (cooling) under the hood or just for looks?
  17. just tinted it. helps alot with the glare. thanks for the advice. yeah i'm in the air force. stationed in little rock. just hit my 2 year mark in february.
  18. thanks man. i'm gonna start on my kick panels later today so we'll see how that goes. i'll take more build pics this time though.
  19. thanks for the advice. i got some 2.5% floating around so i'll try it out.
