Might be kind of cool to replace several other deep notes in the song, with this one But I "wouldn't want the whole song bass boosted" per say. Even besides the particular drop Im asking about, this song is a great recording, with a lot of great bass + mids-highs.... But if somebody will please, run this on one of your programs, and tell me what it drops to, at 4:03 ??? Has to be well below 30hz. Not to answer for DK, but just speaking for myself, I think country and dubstep are such a totally different style of music, that they could easily be referred to as both ends of the spectrum. And I sometimes listen to both Fish Not flaming you bro, but why are country and dubstep the two ends of the genre spectrum?

Man, the more I think about it, the more I think that chick was either a cop, or up to some other kind of foul play. Most of the hookers I've seen (especially the older ones... remember, this girl looked like she was in her late 30's or 40'ish) usually look like they have been road hard and put away wet..... and trying to cover up the abuse with 20 lbs of makeup. But this girl looked just a little too fresh and clean...... I'm telling you, if I had been having a dumb-$#!+ moment.... And, thank God I don't drink alcohol ! Right on Sounds like fun to me. But ya' know, as far as pissing perople off at stop lights..... uhhh..... what about a Harley Davidson that pulls up to a light, shaking everyone around them ? What about the construction crew using jack hammers and concrete saws ? And of course, what about the people who actually enjoy hearing a quaking system, and roll their windows "down" to hear it better ??? I don't go completely out of my way to try and piss off as many people as I can..... The funny thing was, it felt SO totally staged So I was giving a new room mate (who hadn't heard my system yet) a demo. From the moment we hit the end of my street, we started running into {mostly} younger people, who every one of, was apparently in the mood to dance It got really fun when we went through old town, and there was a sizable crowd (average age maybe 18) in front of the Starbucks, of whom about 8 of them had to stand up to dance, the other 8 or 10 showed approval by waving their arms LOL So I look over at my room mate, and he's tripping on everybody else tripping, as much as he is the system I had to tell him, dude, I don't always get this kind love, when cranking it. But like I say, it really seemed staged. Hardly anyone trying to ignore it.... everybody was just being cool. Played Gorilla Zoe - Echo, Ying Yang Twins - Saltshaker, Bassnectar - Time Stretch, and a few others... Gotta say it was a good day, Fish

But in my mind, the best way to test these products would just be to treat 1 door of a vehicle with a particular SD product, crank up a frequency sweep right outside of that door, and read the sound coming through with a Term Lab. Record results. Rip out product 1, and install product 2. Repeat process. A lot of work, but definitive. Fish

and PLEASE, nobody post a link for that damn "Sound Deadener Showdown" < this is just another brand of sound deadener, and the comparisons they use on their website are completely biased. I'd LOVE to see the results of a vehicle (or at least 1 door of it) treated with a particular brand of deadener.... A frequency sweep played loud outside of the vehicle, and a DB meter used inside the vehicle, to see exactly what that material blocks. Next, rip out that brand of deadener, put in another, repeat. In other words, ALL BS asside.... I know they all work, but which ones are REALLY the best value ? BTW, everyone always says Dynamat Extreme is SO expensive..... yet when I compare prices of DE (in bulk packages from SonicElectronix) I find that it is right in the middle of the price range for all the other popular sound deadeners. I'm expecting to spend between $300-$400 on materials, to sound deaden the roof, and all 4 dr's of my F150. To reiterate, UNBIASED comparisons wanted.... Fish

Yea.... SMD gave me a sample of SS and it seemed really thin, and light. Hmmmm. I guess if it does as good a job as other brands which are thicker and heavier, that's all fine and good..... But I'd really like to see some totally unbiased sound deadening comparison / reviews. Fish

I had just pulled into the parking lot of a local grocery store, and parked in the outskirts, to tweak my settings a bit, and crank a couple songs. So, I'm about in the middle of my second song, when this chick walks up. Now let me paint you a picture. She was really thin (like I totally prefer) but still curvy, maybe 5'6", 115 lbs, about 40 years old (I'm 47, and she looked MUCH better than me ) black girl with long, pretty hair hair (probably weaves, but that would bother me about as much as fake tits (Not ) So, by the time she gets to the window of my truck, "I've already checked this girl out from head to toe, and "if" I were strictly going by "looks or body"...... Oh hell's yea'. No questions asked. Unfortunately, the intelligent side of my brain..... or wait, should I say, my other head starts thinking And I was like > 2 hours after dark, this girl is walking up to a complete stranger and telling me, "Hey baby, I love your truck. Okay, for starters..... roids, right ? Well duh. The human body can not reach ridiculous levels of body mass like this, with out them. But anybody who thinks "all it would take is a bunch of chemicals". Uhhh, no. I think maybe 1 in 10's of millions, maybe hundreds, even have the genetic capability of getting this big.
