I have the same car basically a tl and i have a dc xl and im going to get a soundstream amp and it was under 1000 including headunit speakers and wire. Also you can keep the stock stuff but i would just buy an aftermarket one it sounds better. Also i did used to have 2 fi ssd's on 1600 exactly what your talking about and everyone including me says the 1 10 on only 600 watts right now is louder.

Yes you are correct to be safe even better to have one right off the battery and another right near the amp since there is no built in fuse in the amp.

Exactly and since there's no fuse built in you need to put in an inline to the specs but you are gonna need some bigger wire ^^^ if you have 4 gauge don't even try it jus go get some 1/0

Also could be the whole indash my friend was in town and he got a new indash and amp for all the speakers before he hooked the amp up everything sounded fine after the amp horrible turbo whine whenever he hit the gas you couldn't even hear the music so I spent 3 days changing and checking everything I could think of even re wiring all of the speakers finally said maybe you got a faulty in dash went to the store traded out put the new one in in the parking lot and ding ding ding nothing sounded great.

Well I was doing hvac making jack shit so one of my friends hooked me up with a job on a pipeline not even 2 weeks in and got fired because the foreman dug a hole the wrong size and one of our operators got fucked up in it long end of the story 7 people lost there job all because the foremans a dumb mother fucker and I can't go back to the other hvac company because the business is almost dead because it's about done being hot. I can't see your sig on my iPhone but my last box was 2 12's with about 3.5 cubes and it was like 33w 15t and 22d still had about a foot and a half in front of the box and yeah I had to get a head unit bracket it was like 15 dollars and I still have stock Bose in the back but I put the comps in and added tweeter holes up front to hear the highs better
