Hey guys, I bought a 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero about a month ago and while I don't mind the factory radio (I have the Prestige Audio package with 6 disk changer, 200 watts, 9 speakers, etc.) I would love a double din screen in there. Do you guys know if this will work? I can't seem to find anything...Any advice on what to look at would be great. Thanks.

If he just bought the subs, and they're not even used yet, just have him exchange them for the dual 2ohm models and then the amp can be wired down to 2ohms.

The Audiobahns can handle 400 watts RMS too, and the amp is 800 RMS @2ohms, but I can't wire the amp down to 2 ohms. Once I get the Hifonics installed, it'll be wired down to 1 ohm and I'll push the 800 that the pair can handle. Got some 12" Fi SSD's in my future, just gotta wait until I get the money for them.

Congrats to you bro. Study hard, party harder :drinks: SUNY schools typically aren't that expensive. College isn't cheap, but they're not as pricy as others. Remember though that scholarships are your friend too, to save a little money. I'm going to a $28k a year school and only paying less than $2k for it. After student loans, it's only about 300 out of my pocket a semester.

Found this video on my computer. Took it sometime last spring. 2 12" Audiobahn Special Editions, dual 4 ohm. Audiobahn a8000t amp, 400 watts RMS Stinger wiring throughout Old school Pioneer deck that my mom bought new in 95 when she got the car. Since this video, I've installed an Alpine CDE-9881 and have a Hifonics BXi1608D (gotta wait till my birthday on Friday to get it though ). I know it's not much, but I can't complain for it being my first system and only paying $150 for it all. Installed it all myself so that was fun too. PS don't mind the camera being left in the trunk in the middle of the video. I've been working at a local restaurant for 3 years now. Started when I was 16, making minimum wage under the table washing dishes 1 night a week. Did that for 2 months and then was "promoted" to a cook. Now I'm second-in-command (when I'm home from college), having only the kitchen manager above me. Make $15.25 an hour, used to work 35-40 hours a week before I left for school. I love my job, I can't see myself working anywhere else until I get a degree. Point being: There's good money in the food industry if you find the right place. And plus, ladies love a man that can cook

All I really asked for was a Hifonics BXi1608d and a new jacket. I know I got the new amp because my mom needed to know where to order it from. My sisters also paying for the first sitting of my new tattoo. Other than that, I have no idea. No girl currently to be getting anything from, just the mom and sister. Of course seeing all the family is a plus. This Christmas is going to be a little different though, as one of my cousins now owns a resort in Costa Rica and is staying there for the holidays (rich bastard). First Christmas that I won't see him. Wishing a happy holiday season to all the SMDer's and their families.

Haven't spoken to my father in about 3 years now. Moved an hour away from my house, got a new girlfriend that hates me and sister, and chose that life over us. Showed up at a couple of my basketball games and my high school graduation, but was gone before any ended so he didn't have to confront me. Assholes.
