What kind of Cameras do you guys use to take vids? How do they handle bass? Throw up a vid if ya got one too. I am loking for a 1080p camcorder that also takes decent stills. Would be cool to be able to use different lenses as well.

Thats what I am looking for. I have no problem paying for labor to install but to out right charge more just becasue the customer didn't buy material from you is plain stupid. Its a real good way to get bad mouthed and lose potential customers. I did find a guy that said he could do it for $200. My only issue with that, he is an ex Circuit City employee and he wanted to keep my truck from Friday night till Sunday afternoon. My last alarm install was done at Best Buy and I dont imagine CC was any better. Plus I dont know the guy and he wants me to leave my shit with him for two days.

So I have a brand new Viper alarm/remote start with two window controllers that I need to have installed. The other day I went to two of the bigger local shops to get an install quote. The first was Audio Express, I was quoted $650 to install my alarm. That price also included the module that is needed for my truck, they charge $100 for that. Audio Express is actually a Viper dealer. The second shot is called Thompsons Audio. From them I was quoted $500 and there price also included the module I need. I questioned Audio Express why they charge so much for labor and they said because I didn't buy the alarm from them that they charge more. When I asked how much more he told me $300! We went back and forth for a minute. I could tell he just didn't want to install my alarm since I had not bought it from him. He said since hes not making any money selling me the product its not worth it. I told I would gladly pay him for his labor but its fucking stupid to charge twice as much as normal. I mean I could buy the alarm from him and have it installed for less than that. So thats my rant about that. But my main question here is...Is fucking your customer like this common practice at other shops? I would really love to hear from some shop owners/employees. And please if you do respond, back up your answer. I know people gotta make a living but this to me is just dumb.

Is there a liner or anything going in the front wheel wells where they didn't paint? And I suggested the black uppers and lowers but the red does go well with the breaks.

I have seen plenty of vids with people doing handguns. Don't know if they were modded or not. I was talking rifles tho.

Your exposing them to too much sunlight thus shortening there lifespan. Like over charging your batteries. Just follow the manufactures recommendations.

Question. THis is taking it back a bit, but still. When you were building the doors, yours and the ones for the Hoopty. How did you fasten the panel to the bottom of the door. When you cut the panels you cut off both of the hooks that hold the panel to the door. I actually just started my doors tonight and had to cut mine off as well.

Yeah, def not a big deal. Like I said I knew your heart was in the V but you always said you aint have the monies...then I see the ISF and I was like, wait a min why didn't he just get the Caddy. I guess I would settle for either one, lol.
