  1. i thought you were going to the XL102 cook off in Richmond, im gonna try to goto DC but i dont know yet. richmond cook off is this weekend.
  2. remember the paint is only gonna be as good as the prep. so if you prep im sure the paint shop wont warranty the end result. and they like to charge more if you do the prep work, at least thats my experience.
  3. the whole time i though you were talking about The X chilli cook off that this weekend. anyway have you guys decided wether or not your going (to the DC cook off)?
  4. i was thinking that the assholes that put those poles everywhere should paint them bright yellow......j/k that sucks ass, i watched a guy curb the hell out of his rims yesterday backing out of a spot.
  5. couple of things, i feel terrible for the pic with my chrysler in it, that was my first car and my daily driver from VA to OH to IL and back to VA for 4 years. and thats my dad in the one pic.
  6. so thanks to James i am on the way to a new ported box, this is gonna be my first ported box. i took a few pics of my progress. the pic with the date was taken a few days ago cause we had a minor problem, but fixed that and i got to build today. me and my dad got everything done except the front and the top.
  7. thanks for that, i will check all of those. on another note, when i first encountered this issue i did move the H/U ground from the factory harness to a spot under the passenger carpet. also i moved the piece of 1/0 ground in the back from one of my hitch bolts that was ground down, it was sandwiched between the hitch and the frame, to a hole that i drilled and put a 1/2" bolt through. neither worked but i will move them again. and deff try disconecting the illumination.
  8. The remote is connected to the eclipse brain. the illumination is connected to the factory illum.
  9. am i missing something? does your price go from $45-65-300-50 and back to 45? im really confused now.
  10. thats what i was thinking. i just hope i can come up with enough for two. thanks guys
  11. i am really trying hard to come up with the money to get some new amps and i was thinking about 2 saz-2000, but what about the saz3500? i can get two 2000's for the same price as one 3500. im guessing i would come out ahead getting the two amps. what do you guys think? right now im running two 15's but before the year is out i want to go with 2 or 4 18's
  12. i still havent figured this one out so i thought i would bring it back TTT.
  13. i dont know anything about that car, but you should spend $20 and get a chilton manual for your car.
  14. i would like that hieght. from the floor to the top of my third row is 24". from the specs i sent you, do you think the box should be bigger? i dont mind if it is, hell i dont mind i you change the tuning.
  15. i would loose my job if my boss found out how much time i spend on SMD at work. this site probally get like 30-40 hits from me everyday. i have to close IE down a bunch so i dont get busted. LOL
  16. i have James working on it for me, but if anybody else wants to throw an idea my way, go for it.
  17. scratch that. i would rather have the full 24" H so it lines up with the top of the seat.
  18. i want to build a new box for my 15's. my goal is 8cuft tuned to 37Hz. the maximun amount of space i have is 24" H 49.5" W 27" D i am going to do subs up port back, i have tried a couple of the box designs software online and for the most part they confuse me a bit. i was wondering if anyone here would be able to give me a hand designing a box. i would like the box to be the full 49.5" wide. these are ouside measurements and i will use 3/4"MDF if anymore info is need just let me know what you might need. Thanks
  19. talk to Patrick at robot underground. last time i spoke to him he still had a ton of Adire Audio stuff left. I think he bought there stock, not sure. but he built my subs using some adire parts. [email protected] tell him jeff ([email protected]) reffered you. hes in arizona. really resonable prices too.
  20. like everybody else said use common sense and you will be ok. also dont crank the pressure washer all the way up. spray everything down with a decent degreaser let it sit for a couple mins but dont let it dry, spray it off then wipe down whats left. dont spray the insulation on your hood it will fray and will leave water stains. its ok to get wet just dont directly spray it. my two cents.
