  2. I knew the year, 81-82 the turn signals were in the bumpers, don't know why I asked the year!?! LOL This is the K-5 I sold, pics of my short wide are on my old computer!
  3. Why do you say that, is it because I said " mad ", and not man, or is it that I said "wand", and not want? ( and yes I said pic of a pic!)
  4. 81, or 82? I love the old square bodies I sold my 82 2wd k5 back in Aug., and I kick myself in the ass every day! I have a 81 short wide I'm working on, I'll try to post a pic in a few. Looks good, you going to do anything else to it? Never mind, I was posting as you were posting! ^^ LOL
  5. So, I'm thinking of something else to work on. This old man down the street died, and a family member is selling his truck, it's a 1993 Chevy s-10 extended cab. It's got the 4.3 Vortec V6, and has like 105,000 miles on it. Now, they want $3,500 for it, I was thinking more like $2,000, if that! It's nice, I looked it over, and the ONLY thing I could SEE wrong with it, is the chrome trim over the wheel opening on the back passenger side. (that, and it has a camper shell, and a visor of some sort) So, I guess my question to you guys is would any of you buy something like this, I think the potential is endless, not to mention, I had one back in 99, and I LOVED it! Here is a pic of a pic of my old S-10, it was a hoopty deluxe for sure!!! LOL
  6. yep....I just went and looked! That's cool shit....I might have to break down and get someting like that.
  7. Right on...how much did it run you?
  8. Is that a kit, if so how much, and where?
  9. To answer the type/brand, it's Pergo. Yes, I got all the tools, however I was still having problems. I finished up a little while ago, looks good I guess, considering it was the first time and all. It was a BIG deal a couple different times, but it all worked out. With the living room, and the two little hallways, it was just shy of 323 sq. feet. I will pay somebody to do it for me next time!!! Glad to see others of you share my frustration, made me feel a little better....thanx!!
  10. Any of you guys ever done the locking wood floors? We/I am doing them, and it's kicking my ass! On top of that, It's caused a few blow ups between my wife and I! It wouldn't be so bad if I had some help, and it wouldn't be so bad if she hadn't just sprung it on me all of the sudden like! I have never, ever, ever, ever done this shit, and it is realy stressing me the fuck out! Thought I'd take a break, and get on, and see if any of you have done them, ANY help/advice would be GREAT!!!! (tips/tricks....so on.)

  16. Today, while pulling the iPod cable to a different spot, I found a pair of safety glasses from the factory....I think!?! I took the dash loose on the passenger side, and removed the glove box, and between it, and the duct work was this DUSTY ass pair of yellow tinted UVEX safety glasses!
  17. Haven't washed my Tahoe (due to the damn weather) in like 7 months, washed it, shined up the rims, dressed the tires, and the weather guy say "we have a good chance at rain today"....FUCK THAT!!! Fuckin crazy ass Texas weather!

  19. IBeam® is the next generation of high definition bass solutions. It efficiently energizes the listeners auditory cortex without pressurizing surrounding air by transmitting information via bone harmonics and other direct stimulus routes. IBeam® localizes bass and reduces "noise pollution" by increasing the portion of tactile sound as "felt" by only the listener. Wow....they make it sound so high tech, this one is dumb too! SORRY rockford, wonder if any of these caught on, better yet, wonder if they sold any??? (of any brand!)
