  1. DC LVL4 is a good sub but probably not what you're gonna be looking for, if you're running 1500rms to 4 12"s you're going to be moving more area than 1 18" just due to the cone area.
  2. Get rid of the filters first. And second I believe you have your amps mixed up possibly??? Maybe a bad installer... Sub amps have one pair of RCA inputs while 4 Channel amps have 2 pairs of RCA inputs. EDIT: IF the installer did mess up that bad they deserve to be fired.
  3. Conflicker is what you're lookin for. Microsoft's offering up 250,000 for anyone that can find the programmers of it, and so far what's been said about it is "The worm is set to activate on April 1st, 2009, to look for updates whose objectives are currently unknown." So no one really knows what it will do, either steal a lot of identities/wipe computers or be an April Fools Joke?
  4. Really? I've never had any problems with boost knobs, I just set the amp with the boost knobs up all the way, then turn the knob off and when I want more bass I turn the knob to where it sounds best.
  5. No don't worry bout "high level inputs" some amps have them some don't just get a line output converter from any place and splice it into your rear left speaker line then run the RCA's from it to your amp, don't forget to run the remote turn-on lead.
  6. I bet the new mute location is probably loose in the harness then I'll see what I can do to fix it.
  7. Yeah i did move the mute to that spot and ground it with parking brake, so I guess I may just software it to 128.
  8. I know this isn't huge or anything but just thought i'd show what I got accomplished today. HD Radio Tuner & Double Din Bracket (built to order...now being mass produced) What it looked like before: All the old out And here's the new Um mess of wires... Everything Done! Overall I had a fun time with this but didn't expect to have to hide-away so much stuff like the mic, GPS antenna, and the HD radio box but got it all done. I also set up the hardware bypass on this one but it still won't play videos once I get over 16, and I also didn't install the speed sensor wire so it must know how fast I'm going through GPS and locking me out when I go over 16. Any tips?
  9. Neo_frog got it right for ya now, you'll have to to a system restore off the installation CD
  10. Check c:\windows\system32\ and see if explorer.exe is there.
  11. haha it's F8 and that just gives ya the safe-mode option. regedit should do the trick for him if not he'll have to put in the installer disk and do some automated system recovery.
  12. Gottcha covered, I see stuff like this all the time. The registry entry HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/Image File Execution Options/explorer.exe has a key similar to "Debugger" with value similar to "C:\Windows\Infected.exe". So go to run then "regedit" Then go to that location HKLM/Software.... and delete the Debugger or similar key, reboot and should be good to go.
  13. I took my car to a shop once because I ran out of 1/0 wire and was at the end of my patience, luckily I know the owner and they installed it then walked me through to show they used all the proper wire and did it right for me.
  14. Interstate makes good batteries if you aren't drawing a lot of current, but if you can find a yellow top in that price range that's a fantastic battery.
  15. You could always cut the shackles in the rear...weld it up good though when you slice your bit out.
  16. Building one. 5-10 cubic feet ported tuned to ~32hz
  17. I run roughly 2k rms to a pair of 12s, then around 200 to mids highs but hopefully I'll change that soon....
