if he loosened up a power or ground the HU wouldnt get power i would imagine. Or did you mean the power or ground at the amp? I was also thinking it may have been that.

hmm...Have you pulled your HU out and made sure you all your RCAs are still plugged in? If youre running your door speakers off the HU did you crimp or solder your connections? If crimped poorly they could have come loose. Just throwing out some ideas.

Not an expert but i would say keep it to 2 layers at a time. Use some acetone to get the wax off before adding more layers. Just what i know from my experiences, but like i said, not an expert.

I had my 2 12s in a 4.4 ft^3 (after displacement) box tuned to 35 and it hit the lows pretty well. I just built a new box, 5 cubes after displacement tuned to 30 Hz. Using the same subs, it now pounds on the lows. Try using a program like WinISD to help you in figuring out how much volume and what to tune it at.

I was wondering what size rims you can fit if you lower it (depending on how low you go) or at stock height. Or how much lift itll take to clear 35" tires without worrying about rub.

ya, im 20, and i had to pay 285 for a speeding ticket in Dupage county in IL since im under 21. The ticket was 75 but to get court supervision under 21 you had to go to court. Minimum fine for a 75 ticket was 285. He didnt even charge me for the court supervision, threw that in for free. cuz of that ticket i missed out on a set of Focal 165VRs for $248, brand new in box. I was pissed.

ive been thinkin when i do my new setup i may need to do this. my current system isnt anything special, but ive gotten pulled over for it before. The cops in my town arent bad, but some areas around me they can impound your car and ticket you $500. But thats in a kinda ghetto area.
