  1. I've seen one with a smoke machine in the car. you'd be finding packing peanuts everywhere for the next few months
  2. I made one for myself that peaks for my car at 41hz pretty damn slow. IMO your version sucked its already a really high song as it is
  3. any idea on what you are going to wrap them in? katzkins like the box? and if you get a chance... I can't find Real Bass Drop in my PM box can you find it for me
  4. real stout wheel you would appreciate it if you drove a tahoe with how big the steering wheel is stock bus wheel is an under statement compared to the momo
  5. the real bass drop is NO JOKE! that sweep is insane!!! :hairtrick: for some reason it seems more intense than last time. oh and Steve found a new demo spot
  6. yeah Dave I knew it was a mild form of a rubbing compound and the different colors were different grits. my neighbor who works for Les Schwab gave it to me and it works the best so far for my lip. when you say angle grinder it kind of scares me almost makes me think I'm grinding my rim lip off.

  10. don't forget about the MLA which makes his voltage at 15.3 and the fact that those amps are rated at 1 ohm not .7
  11. haha its cool I am getting a lot of late happy birthdays at school too. I've got a younger brother, older brother, and older sister I'm good with a sub and $40 as long as I still get all of the privelages I have now I don't need a lot of gifts.
  12. thats the key thats why I didn't post "the finished product" it should always be a work in progress to keep making it look better
  13. looks like they missed and sprayed tire shine on the fender flares but nope thats the gray that they came out with that is lighter than my color and thats a 2001 mine is 2003 just check the first post
  14. Yeah I guess I never mentioned what it was... the Rockford Fosgate Balanced Line Driver RayTard made an awesome review about it in the reviews section. it cancels any noise you have in your system by sending an unbalanced signal through your RCA's
  15. thanks kyle! and no the point I was trying to show was that I had all that plastic garbage on mine you got the rims and the color right but can't forget about the fender flares. just about the day I brought it home the running boards were off and then the next week I had all the moldings, emblems, and fender flares off. not even the very beginning of my build log has the fender flares on it they were that ugly! then I decided to put the running boards back on because it hid all the rusty stuff underneath and made it look lower EDIT: found a better one look at the first post
  16. Post a picture of when you bought your car preferably stock and a picture of it current. If yours was stock like mine just find a similar pic online to post Its crazy to actually see what all your hard work and money goes into. Before: mine is charcoal and had different stock rims After: still need to get a more current one because the Fi sticker is off and the roof rack was shaved
  17. could you have cracked the code on the RFBLD I knew it made some amount of SQ difference but right now I don't have enough for some RF RCA's to match my sub RCA lol so I just threw in some RCA's so I can actually hear what my mids and highs sound like on some real power. maybe the RF RCA's will come with the RFBLD and it will be all butter
  18. alright so I went out today and wrapped some more 16 gauge around the left and right RCA coming out of the front output going to the EQ thinking that if I stopped the noise there that it would stop it before it got the EQ. wrapped it around and ran it over to the bolt on my head unit get everything put back start it up and... I still have engine noise! it seems like it was less then it was when I first tried grounding the HU but it is still there and still annoying me. at this point I'm saying fuck it and waiting until I get my 4 channel in a week or 2 because that way I know how everything is wired and can track it from there... no more stock wiring going everywhere. Steve said I could try one of his RFBLD before he puts them in and see if I actually want to buy one or not so first comes the 4 channel and then if there is still noise next will come the RFBLD. oh and does the quality of the RCA make a huge difference? ATM I have some RCA's I had lying around connecting my HU to my EQ and will soon connect my HU to my 4 channel
