Mine was two separate chambers with a port coming out of the left and right side.

Sealed can sound good but usually lacks the output of a good ported box. I will never use sealed in my personal vehicle again. I love ported and have never heard anything about ported downfire boxes not sounding good.

Had a downfire box for l7 12's in my old ranger that sounded just fine and got pretty loud.

I would think that would take a ton of glass just to support the weight of those subs let alone the air pressure they'll create. Good luck tho.

This alt fits 1988-1995 gmc/chevy c/k 1500 full size trucks. Works great for smaller systems in these trucks because some models came stock with onlt a 60 amp. Looking for $80. Also open to trades. Maybe some PS3 games or power tools. Looking for tekken 6, Army of Two, UFC, NCAA or Madden 10, or anything else really just make an offer. Like I said not really looking for anything imparticular just seeing what if anything I can get.

I'm not familiar with alot of security systems. What are some other reputable/comparable brands besides viper. Not saying anything wrong with viper just wanna shop around a bit.

Ok so I guy I work with has had a 60gb PS3 for about a year now. Anyway today was his birthday and his girl bought him a new PS3 slim. He knew that I had kind of been waivering back and forth on getting another PS3 (sold my old one). Made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Told me if I would build him a box for the two old school Orion 12's he got from his homeboy, then he would sale me the PS3 for $75. PS3 comes with a controller all the wires and an NBA game. Don't know if this is a big deal for any of you but I'm pretty excited about it. p.s. If any of you guys have some PS3 games you're looking to get rid of you can hit me with a pm because the basketball one is gonna get old quick.

What do you mean by more power? If you're getting really severe voltage drop than then the mla isn't gonna solve that. As said before you will need a bigger alt. If you mean a little extra power from your amp than yes the higher voltage will help.

There are alot of factors in bandpass. Done wrong can sound aweful but done right can be devastating. Know a guy that used to have a solo x 12 in a bandpass. It was incredibly loud. I actually made him remove the top of the box to prove it was only one 12 because I couldn't believe it. Its all abot having the knowledge to do them right. I have no idea how to design one and all the literature about them confuses the hell outta me

Yea cvr's are really good subs for what they are like you said. You can get some great subs in that power range 2 ohm dvc. Never heard of those amps but looks very noice.
