  1. Well first, take a measuring tape & get the dimensions as they are. You might be surprised. I measured mine (not a Ford), and I can fit a Deka 9A31 stock.
  2. finally some one said it. Plus, what camera are you using? It doesn't record well at all.
  3. hmmm... When we last built our dock (about 2 years ago), a friend of my dads let us borrow his nail gun. It didn't use like a compressor. It had these cartridges that you popped in & out. Anybody know what I'm talking about? It was nice b/c you didn't have that chord getting in the way constantly.
  4. every body quit being cheap & get some ALO RCA's... Those are the best you can buy & about $700 for 3-6ft... I kid, I kid...but still, they are the best you can buy http://www.aloaudio.com/store/index.php?ma...;products_id=23
  5. On some cars... My friend's Tahoe has a sunroof & a flipdown.
  6. are your subs wired correctly? what are your gains like? what is your voltage like? details man...
  7. I guess the questions are: What is his budget? How much power does he want?
  8. You want a box built for which sub? You listed like 4.
  9. ^^^^what he said^^^^ but I also agree with if you have the money...go big. BUT, only if you're ready for it and can handle it.
  10. Why is your heart set on Kicker or Alpine? Better subs out there for relatively same price.
  11. What year is that sexy Series? Looks like you took good care of it. I just joined the club with my Disco. My brother has a Range Rover though.
  12. no all amps require 15volts to get rated power...
  13. why can't he or you install it your selves? What sizes subs does he want?
  14. lol...why? But you are a Brutus fan?
  15. Does the car already have a stock subwoofer? I know some do & have stock small amps. If so, just replace w/ your amp & subwoofer and keep the same RCAs.
  16. Blow them away? That's hard to say. They both handle the same power & it's ALL in the install. I think they are VERY comparable. If I had to choose b/t the two, I'd I choose DC. It's all what you want though. Was going to go w/ DC, but now I'm going to go w/ a single IA DP 21" instead of (2) DC LV4XLs. It'll save me $1000 and I'll get that 'wow' factor when people see it.
  17. why? The are excellent amps from what I have read. Unless it's a money situation.
  18. first time I heard that since most good quality subs are made form alum. coils.
