Amp Suggestion

just do a single speaker. itll be louder than trying to cram 2 into a small location. i got a single cab s10 and i ran a single cvr 12 at about 650 watts for like 3 months. they are oretty nice subs and can get loud if you find what they like. however if your short like me you can fit alot more behind the seat. -
i thought so. i thought thats why you use a dmm, i thought as long as it wasnt over the input voltage you are good.
-
ok i got you. i completely misread. didnt realize you already had the equiptment
-
idk honestly its a waste imo to wire that huge of an amp to 8ohms
-
i say wire it to two and be easy on the volume. if it blows it gives you a reason to upgrade right??
-
do you have it??? or form a site???

if you have a way to accept payment directly for ma credit card ill get this tomorow -
as title says i need 600rms at 2ohms. budget is roughly 200.
-
yep thats exactly the page i was looking for. but i see 2 outputs coming form the amps now. so what would the impedance of the two outputs?? 4 ohms Right? the tied internally to 2ohms ??? you could only have one output at 2 ohms correct??
-
ok i got another question. would it be better to get 4 amps and run a pair strapped at 2 ohms on each sub or to get 2 amps and just run one amp to each sub at .5ohms??? iirc higher ohm loads draw less current and have less distortion right?? also warrenty still applies at 1 ohm right?? but would i see the same power out of 1 amp at .5 vs. 2 strapped.
-
doesnt really sound that hard though.
-
where is the diagram of how to strap amps? i seen it the other day but idk where
-
nothing wrong with that
-
its true also that when using fosgate amps all you have to do is daisy chain them and you only have to set the gain on the first one right?
-
there most high priced sub is only rated at like 325 rms
-
yea thats pretty cool
-
honestly by looking at the woofers they sale it looks very cheaply made. i wouldnt touch the stuff
-
when you strap the amps do you only have to set one gain or both of them???
