hey guys im thinking about starting a build in my 1996 honda accord. im leaning towards 2 18s in a wall, but im having trouble deciding what 18s to go with... i am really thinking about 2 18" level 5s, but someone was trying to convince me to go with dd 9500s. Now i cant choose between the two. im going to be using the car as a daily driver. each woofer should be getting 5k and im planning on tuning at about 33hz, but i still cant choose between the 2 woofers. I was just wondering what you guys would go with and why? and if you guys have any other suggestions for woofers they would also be appreciated. thanks guys!

Before making a final decision I would consider a hellfire 1000. There under rated. I think there putting out like 1500-1600rms. I don't know how much they run for but there one hell of an amp I'm thinking they are around the same price range, but I could be wrong.

i had the same problem with a maxximus but the main reason the it went into protect mode was because of the voltage and the frequency was set way too high. thats what i was told by the hifonics repair man. it went into protect mode 3 to 6 times before it stayed there...
