  1. The new AudioTechnix uses a different wax paper that is wayyy easier to work with.
  2. Bassbattles.com <<== most local shows with a really cool director.
  3. Why waste the time and effort to hand wind each coil individually. When you can buy them from companies that make them in a matter of minutes, for a couple dollars. Not worth it, imo. But, if your a hand wound coil pioneer, more power to you bro.
  4. No company hand winds their own coils. LOL I hope your joking. There's specific companies that use machinery to make the coils on formers, and they distribute them to the sub makers.
  5. I ordered this recone for a N.v1, so I'd say yeah. If the owner felt liking making them. lol
  6. That 15" 4 w/ 5 coils on a crescendo - same exact setup in a suv. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQOwDE24coA Sub got stinky really quick. Box is 3.25cu @ 34hz. Try not to rise a few thousand ohms ! LoL
  7. Why compare 12" to 15"s ? Obvious differences are obvious. I won't compare, incomparable subs but, I will say that 15" gets respectably loud for what it is
  8. Mechman because all three alts I bought from him arrived in 3-4 days and he kept me informed with my order/ updates. NOT DC because it took 6 months and calling twice every week for me to get to finally get some basic GM AD 244 alts. Nightmare customer service.. in my experience
  9. Haha, OCD kicking in buddy ? I ordered something around the same time, my buddy also ordered some batts a few days ago. They're probably busy. A few days wait isn't something to get butt hurt about bud.
  10. ^^^^^ Pretty sure that has nothing to do about what this guy is asking... THis is the alt I'm talking about and the one I'm sure the OP is asking about.. Which is the one my buddy has, it has a adjustable voltage regulator built in. ( small dial on the small red box, not able to see in pic )
  11. No, my buddy has the same alt for his Cadillac. He's crazy suprised about the output of this alt on his 3k watt setup. His is charging at about 15v and only drops to about 13.8v, at full tilt. The alt impressed me also, actually the reason I sold my DC's and went with Mechman
  12. I got one of these. Hopefully the Adujustable Voltage Regulator thing gets worked out soon, so I can use these alts. Seem to be well built. Better than my previous alts..
