Reformatting only solves corruption issues with software or windows, if he has a hardware issue a reformat won't do anything.

A failing hard drive will have more issues then a simple blue screen. With a bad drive you will notice the performance is REALLY bad and stuff just isn't doing what it supposed to. Well with you and you "finding" stuff you can possibly have a virus that has gotten ahold of your windows files.

Play some music at your listening level and get a DMM and test voltage at the speaker terminals. Also test voltage at the input.

ground is on the frame cleaned up and yes with but and bolt and nothing has been changed since i installed it Alight good good. What's the sub wired too?

Where did you ground the amp too? Also did you use a nut and bolt? Did you switch out ANYTHING before this happened?

I have the spec booklet and it says DC resistence 3.51 ohm and nominal impedence 4 ohm nothing about a final ohm that means if you wired them in parallel two SVC 4ohms will come out to 2 ohms. i have no clue if your amp is stable at 2 ohm According to it specs it is stable at 2.

I go over the basics then if you read AGAIN I asked him what his subs were wired down too. When I try and help people I always see what they know before. And if there is a issue like say the gains I help correct it. Don't worry I asked him what his subs are wired down too. I'll make sure to ask that everytime. And sometimes the problem isn't what you might think it is. I read rebel, but if YOU read nothing was changed here minus the subs. If the amp stopped working altogether then maybe his bass boost/gain might have something to do with it. But if you read where he went from 8 ohm subs to 4 ohm subs what you should be thinking...single or dual. Obviously the gain/boost settings are valid questions but none to alleviate the direct issue. So we know already stated different voicecoil configurations, and I'm going to assume he just wired them the exact same way the previous subs were wired, in which case with single 8 ohm subs makes sense why the gain was set so high, which would lead me to believe he's wired to a 1 ohm load which the amp is not intended for. Then you can feel free to inquire about his settings. Fair enough. Oh and I wasn't taking it as a attack.

Ya brand new subs, nothing changed in the system except the subs. The gain is about 3/4 of what it could be but i turned it down and the problem still happens Don't forget that gain knob is not a volume knob, do you know what you wired the subs down to.

Whats the bass boost and gain at on the amp? Also were the subs new?

Check the grounds, turn the bass boost ALL the way down. The gain isn't a volume knob don't forget.

Should have known that it wasn't going to be up to spec with the DD. For 125 bucks I think you can build your self your own box. Or have someone do it, you just need pretty much basic wood skills and the tools.
