  1. Did you build the box or is it a prefab?
  2. Yeah it sounded pretty good lol.
  3. Use the package manager or whatever it's called. I forgot the name it's been awhile.
  4. Yeah figures I took my stuff out for my "upgrade" lol.
  5. Doing your own system or install is actually pretty simple as long as you take the time to learn how to do it all correctly. If you are a good mind you will pick up on mostly the basics of stuff very quickly.
  6. To me it seems they are holding you "hostage" to a point where you can't switch brands they sell. I would just get away from them and do your own stuff.
  7. When you install windows 7 in the setup options where you pick the HDD you want to install it on just delete the entire partition and your good to go.
  8. If you really want to try a linux distro out I would recommend ubuntu. But then again you gotta take your time with anything linux it's like a turbo and supercharged version of windows. You do one thing wrong and you can mess stuff up. I wouldn't mess with the admin thing if your going to windows 7.
  9. And the correct spelling for "linex" is Linux. Also you can use Linux but just use wine but if you don't have the time to correctly learn linux then don't bother with it. Windows 7 uses far less resources than vista and has better performance than XP. I would put Win 7 home premium on there and be done with it. And just go into control panel>user accounts and see from there how to give yourself admin.
  10. Then your not under a admin account.
  11. You can not use the entire harddrive. I just got a new drive and on it's label it even says that you won't be able to use the entire drive.
  12. Headlights are already on it from stock. I'm adding the brake/tail lights.
  13. Update: I'm going to ditch the brake light deal until winter is over because right now we are expected 6-9 inches of snow and ice after this crap passes. So what I did today was buy 2 lights and some wire and will get everything setup then I'll add in the brake switch. The tractor is on a 12v system with brand new stator so everything charges nice
  14. I did take your opinion into mind. I will try that tomorrow if the weather permits.
  15. Can't use the search button I done broke it.
  16. Oh I didn't know that, I haven't seen it pop-up in the list. Can I get a link?? It's NEW news to me 2000
  17. Just read his facebook! Said someone rear-ended him at a light!
  18. The PSU needs to have room to breathe it can be put in box but it has to have good airflow going across. Using a PSU to power a HU is fine to do.
  19. Pretty sure you need a relay to do that.
  20. But what the haters don't know David broke the rules by releasing his vlogs channels videos to his account which it is stated that you can not do that.
  21. Thanks steve! And when I clicked this i was thinking I was on my VPN but I wasn't! I went woohooo
  22. Thanks for that. I'll wait till some other people post. Also I have 3 head lights and 1 brake light for now.
  23. I understood your wiring diagram but what switch or what would i tap into to get the brake light to "light up" when I push down the pedal.
  24. I understand how to run them off the headlights but not for sure how I would go about using it as a brake light/taillight
