  1. I 2nd this Just had an 03 silverdao with a 5.3 in the shop wednesday with missfire codes and a cat efficiency issue, damn thing had no power at all. pulled the exhaust loose on one side and she ran like a striped ass ape. Being you have 02 sensors b4 and after the cat, throw a back pressure gauge on it and get some readings, anything over 2psi of back pressure and yer screwed. and be sure to check them with the rpms raised up as well, not just at idle. If ya dont have access to the tool, just drop the exhaust off one side. Aftermarket cat assembly aught to run you bout $750. A dealer part would be prefered due to some aftermarket cats not burning correctly and setting codes after replacement but when i called the dealer they were out of stock in all the warehouses in the midwest and were on back order. Good luck man

  3. It all comes down to using common sense and respecting what tools you are using. If you don't treat it like you are handling a rattle snake, it will bite you in the ass every time...

  7. you probably have a input or output speed sensor on the tranny that has taken a dump. they go into a default limp in mode when the transmissioin controller senses an issue and flags the light and codes. only gears you will have with it in that condition are reverse, second, and obviously park. Get an actual scanner on it not just a code reader and see what the sensors are actually reading while driving. btw, the sensors are cheap even from the dealer....
  8. i really wish you would learn to actually read things DWright, same build house as Zenon hence why they look similar, the boards contain different components per jakes specs therefore it is not a Zenon... Nice Purchase BTW man

  16. For Immediate Release. USACI announced today that the 2008 USACI World Finals and Tuner Jam will be re-locating to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas. Every effort is being made to keep the current dates. Event specifics including hotels will be updated frequently over the next week. Despite incredible efforts and input on behalf of the Omaha retailers and USACI, there were obstacles to the event in the Omaha market that could not be overcome. USACI would like to thank Stereo West, Inphase Audio, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and Metro Audio for all their efforts. "While we at USACI are disappointed to be making a change so late in the season we welcome the opportunity to take USACI Finals back to Texas and develop a new venue" stated Ralph Randall, USACI's president. "We also have several forthcoming announcements coming about our new finals sponsors and the plans for our new venue!" he continued. These announcements can be expected over the next 5-7 days. USACI has a very strong support base in the mid-south region that includes Texas and the move will undoubtedly increase not only competitor attendance but spectator turnout as well. Several manufacturers have already committed to support the event and we expect several more in the next two weeks. www.usaciworldfinals dot com will be updated as contracts are secured. Please visit the site regularly. This post is from another forum and the information has not been updated on the site as of yet so i am not sure where the OP found it but i did call personally to USACI and they did confirm it has been moved to the Dallas area.. http://usaci.forumotion.com/general-discus...-2008-t4605.htm Link added

  20. the only thing on the entire amp that says t4001.bd is the removable cover that covers the terminals which the seller purchased new as he stated in the FS thread, all other stickers and marking are missing. the speaker screws that are usually part of the amp are missing, but he threw 4 small screws in the box which were mixed in with the packing material. B4 anyone jumps my ass wondering wth i am doing posting all this info, i am the one that discovered the t3000.bd on the board to start with and am doing most of what will be the build for xaosikk. Being he is a tad under the weather at the moment, i'm trying to help fill the informational gaps...
  21. I'm taking it kinda personal as well since i was the one that kept telling James that he wont find a t4k this cheap for a long time. Kinda makes a little sense now as to why it was being sold so cheap for what it was supposed to be but sure as hell appears that it isnt...

  23. speaking of which, you just refreshed my memory on one jeep issue David. check the fuse box for corrosion build up. jeeps have been known for water leaks coming from the windshield area that actually collect in the fuse box and create all kinds of problems.
