I think there should be more contributing members. Its a good way to give back to a site that has offered good information (sometimes info you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else) and hooks you up with direct connections to many companies. I didn't say we shouldn't contribute. I just think we should contribute because we want to not because we feel like Steve might go broke if we don't. That why I quoted skittles.

I think it looks like a whole lot of other walls. But we can't help you at all or tell you anything about the design until it's an actual design, with measurements and everything.

I got mine today too (mine was one of the Friday ones) and wow. I though Damp Pro was great an it was gonna be tough to beat but I guess it wasn't too hard. Haha. The adhesive is slightly thinner (unnoticeable, .5mm IIRC according to the site) but the foil is a little thicker, not to noticeable either....till you try bending and wobbling it. It slipped off my bed and landed right on the corner which caused it to wrincle a bit and let's just say I gave up on trying to bend it straight because it just wasn't working out for me. Haha

I think that's a good thing. I hope. Haha. But yeah JD has went pretty much above an beyond for me. Free 18" TSNS (no shipping cost to me either) and free recone because one had some slight coil rub (and not once did he question me about it or ask for proof or anything). It sucks to see how people feel about T3 but I guess you might be right. And other people's experiences might have been different. Oh and one of my Frieda called for a quote once and he got ahold of them the 1st time he tried too. Edit: Jay I take it you're not gonna need a T3 demo vehicle anymore. =[

That is what A (meaning 1) thread is for. You don't need 5 threads for 5 vids. If you want that much thread post actual build logs that show the progress you guys made leading to the vid. That way you have 1 thread per vehicle. Not 1 per vid.

Looks like you wasted a ton of matt and resin by using it over the gap where the HU is going in. Other than that just clean it up, paint it, and you should be good to go.

I didn't say it wouldn't work. I said you need to use a ton of fiberglass matt. Not just resin, you need to add matt to give that piece strength because of how it's being positioned and because it's gonna be holding some weight. How to you plan on making that piece stay there?

Either that HU is gonna be facing down or the bottom part is going to be sticking out, possibly hanging. And I wouldn't glass over cardboard unless you want to use a ton of fiberglass mesh.

i dont think so, at least not enough to notice. thats why the center is recessed, to level it out, but also to set it back into the dash I had looked at it real quick so I missed it. But yeah the top of the little section with HU it pushed into the rest of the section that was made.

Cuz a piece of wood....BAM you have your template. Some fiberglass to make it look nice. Or maybe some bedliner to give it a mean look since you're building in an old school muscle car. EDIT: the unit in the car with blue sticks out too. I think there's just about no way to make it flush unless you want you HU facing down or if you make that whole dash piece stick out or cut the top part and push it back so it won't have that angle.
