  1. ^Thanks. And yea, I've got a good handful of the 36" ones but mainly like 12-14 of the 24" ones Not much was done today due to my schedule and I had to run a bunch of wood to the shop to stock up and also to start making a couple work benches (and an island to do carpeting on) But I got 2 of the 45 degree inserts cut real quick while I was there briefly Little bit of wood (OoOoh, clamps) Tomorrow I should be headed to the shop before work to get some work done and then i'll be working after work as well (and no work tuesday, so plenty of progress then )
  2. Thanks guys And the clamps are Jergensen, home depot carries them for not too bad of a price...I'd suggest them, theyre nice clamps
  3. Alright, it's been a while since I've made an enclosure for anyone on the forums, but im back yet again to grace you with more sloppy enclosure builds This enclosure will be for a 15" AQ HDC3. Specs come to 4.125 cubes net, tuned to 35hz, with 66 sq inches of port. I got a little started today, more tomorrow. Getting the pieces cut.. Back going on.. Side going on.. Other side going on.. More tomorrow night
  4. It's amazing what can be done when people just take care of their cars
  5. The dog...he loves teh bass fyi He's a German Sheperd, Great Dane, and Chow mix about 100 pounds...kinda getting old but still acts like a younger dog. Name's Shep (and no, I didnt have it up with him in the car)
  6. You pull me over for rolling through a stop sign because no one's around and all you talk about is how I should keep my music down and that you could 'feel me coming'...FUCK THAT!
  7. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.p...changeable+port Look through there if you were wanting ideas for the removeableport setup, that's a removeable port setup I had going but never changed the port wall out to try and see what kind of numbers it could really get...but with the quad 4" ports tuned to 33Hz (not 31Hz like the thread says, redid calculations) it got a 148 @ 40Hz out of the trunk
  8. ^x2..mine's tuned to a hair under 31Hz but my loudest is around 41-42Hz...
  9. Yea, thought as much (that the camera just wasnt picking up much)...that always sucks when it can't show anything
  10. Im sure it was loud but I didnt really see much moving (steering wheel, etc.)..? nice though
  11. 149.5 @ 41Hz yesterday due to the duct tape not being in the rear deck and the sides of the enclosure to try and seal it from the trunk ...not that it's a horrible score or anything, but im really looking to break 150 every run after some work I can hopefully get around to in the near future. I may be cutting the mounting rings for my 2 pairs of rear components tonight...pics if anything happens. Wow...I dont even know why I posted this in my video thread...I guess this'll go in the actual build thread ..ugh, i need sleep
  12. That seems a bit excessive on the lowness...and I like to tune low.
  13. Yea, port is firing up into the back window...hoping to have the whole rear deck area one smooth surface and actually sealed off from the trunk...I'd really like to get a 152 (@40Hz...but @ 35Hz would be even nicer ) when it's all said and done. And yea, the sunroof just flaps like paper when it's up a good bit...and the mega-low note or two on 'bass I love you' nearly pushed that bish outa there scared the crap outa me
  14. Thanks It's got 4 runs of power 1/0 guage and 4 runs of ground 1/0 gauge (kolossus kable) going to the back, ran inside of my sideskirt panels...fits 4 runs snuggly right inside And it's Lil Scrappy - No Problem
  15. Thanks I really enjoy a nice electrical setup. But I havent yet installed my stinger volt meter to see what it's like on music and I havent had a meter on it for burps either..Saturday there will be a comp, I will get a meter on it to see what it drops to.
  16. Lookin good And maybe for a bit more support and looks you could cut another baffle and countersink the sub, just a thought.
  17. And im really dumb, I posted the wrong video up in this thread... Here's the one I meant to post
  18. Thanks man And yea im hoping to get a couple db after finishing it up, i may also add a bit more battery backup in the future, we'll see though.
  19. Thanks guys. And at this setup's first comp ever, with brand-new subs, the trunk not sealed off from the cabin, and no deadener infront of the b-pillar it got a 150.0 @ 40Hz (sealed up, on the dash)
