I know there not perfect but it was also my first time so im happy with them. It was a fun experience I learned alot. Well here's a couple more pics the glass was hard enough to take pods out. I had to close my doors its raining like a mofo outside. Both sides will get a couple more layers before i place rings especially the passanger side its a a lil weaker than driver( its only like three layers). And I know there a lil big but they will get trimed once rings are placed tomorrow. I'd reather it be to big than not big enough and heres how the weather is right now in Louisiana

Well I blew one of my subs yesterday. I decided to start building kicks since I wont be ordering subs tell next week or week after that. So im getting my highs and mids up to par while subs are down. Here are a few pics of where I got today. The weather started off hot as hell then came rain so i didn't get as far as I wanted but at least its a start I did passenger side as well but didn't take pics. Tomorrow I be making rings and hopefully if weather is nice I will have more progress than I had today. I'll keep everyone updated. OHHH and this is my first time messing with glass so any advice will be appreciated!!

Yeah Ma are ok but there not a contender with the rest of the subs on the market today. They get stinky in a mather of seconds on just 1K each. I'm upgrading to something that can handle more power than them Either DD or DC. Thanks for the complement bro I appreciate it. Well my truck be down the last two days I was installing alt., in-dash-regular, and big 3 with 0/2 wire. So I got all that finished today and decided to try a hair trick. It did a lil better than I expected, but its still not blowing like a hurricane yet LOL. But I guess its ok for 2 ma audio 15's on 2k watts. but be look foward to upgrades real soon!! It did a lil better with window half way up but wheres the fun in that!!!

got a question I have a 250a rhino alt with in dash regulator. I installed it today but I didn't have time to hook up the regulator. So, my alt doesn't have anything plugged in it. I tested my voltage while running and its 12v. Is this because theres nothing plugged into it? when i hook up the regulator this should be fixed right? I know this is a stupid question but i just thought I read some were that it would have a lil higher voltage without the plug. And one more question on the regulator itself it has one wire that need to be hooked up somewhere does this wire go to positive? I think it does but i just wanted to ask. And thanks mechman i love the alt it bolted straight on I just need i belt 2" bigger to make the job complete

Yeah I know what your saying about the lvl4's but I plan on upgraging my amps in the near future to So I just wanted to get some subs that would take a upgrade so i wouldn't have to buy more subs later as well!!! thanks man

Well thanks for your opinion even though you say my topic is stupid ass FUCK, but I just wanted to know which sub would be better for a street setup not strictly for metering before I spend my money. I'm not one of those people that just post topics and never follow through. I never heard DC subs before and I was looking for some insight before I buy. I've heard DD I liked what I heard but wanted to know what would be better for my setup. I just wanted some honest opinions that people experesended to help me make my decision I thought that was what this site was for. But either way I know I will have a nice setup thats why I said I didn't want any arguments. I know people on this fourm run DC and I know People run DD. I just wanted to know a few hard facts about each before I make a decision. And if I offended anyone by posting this topic please just pass it by that wasn't my objective

I never heard or seen a DC sub in my life but i read so much good reviews about them. I just was hopping to shed a lil light on the situation, but im leaning towards the DC's

I know that this topic has started alot of arguments in the past on this fourm and that is not what im tring to do. I am just wondering which sub would be better for my set up, I know they are both awesome subs and both get nasty loud, but I just want a few professional opinions on the topic. I'm running 4K watts total 2K on each one in an enclosure 5^3 per sub tuned to 38HZ. I want to run either 2 DD 9515's or 2 DC lvl5 15"s. I don't really lile to meter my truck I just like to beat the block up and please the croud if you'll know what I mean. So which one of the two will be better, and if you havent run either of the subs and just want to voice your opinion that you only read about on the internet please dont post. I would like to hear from people that have ran either or both of the subs and can help me out and not just talk about something they know nothing about. Thanks for any real reply I greatly appreciate it. P.S you'll help me out so I can start a build thread
