not really. you wont be disapointed about how a ported box sounds. its just that if you ever did go sealed with the same subs, you will say "hey that sounds a little better." its nothing to worry about.

pvc pipe. half the price. but you need 2 6", 5 4" or 9-10 3" and if you want to tune to 35hz youll need them to be over 20" so you would need to buy the 6" aero and then another pipe to extend it because they only come 17" long.
