Yeah it should be fine. You gonna change the freq? 33hz seems a little low to me. -

I have no idea. Im looking online and I cant find anything. I have an idea though if you have some time to play with box designs. -
My fault, forgot you were using the 3/8 particle board. I think that if your careful and you predrill everything that they would be fine. My previous particle board experience was not so good (but I was also rushed by an impatient teacher) Brad nails would help a lot. 1 1/4" long and hold pretty good, if you went with brad nails id def resin and mat the back of the rack, that would be really strong in my opinion. Id go for it, take as many precautions as you can and see how it turns out. between resin, nails, and some glue it should be fine.

Double post noob stuff RF says you need, (internal dimensions of course) 10" .59 cubes sealed, 1.40 cubes ported @ 40.1 Hz 12" 1.02 cubes sealed, 1.79 ported @ 39.5 Hz I think That in the right enclosure ported or sealed, yes you could probably get more out of them. I liked the sound of the ported enclosure more, not to mention it was louder. -

Yeah I have all my dimensions written down, however, the box was in a standard cab S-10 so the box was oddly shaped. but i have the internal volume before and after displacement as well as the port size and freq. External dimensions: 23.75" tall 52" wide 3 5/8" deep @ top 9" deep @ bottom used .5 mdf with a single partition. 1.72 cubes per chamber before displacement. 1.54 cubes after post & sub displacement. Ports: 1.2" height X 10" wide X 7.88" long tuned @ 41 Hz -

You probably are. I did a 133.1 with 2 P2 10's in a sealed box, built a ported one and did a 136.8 & used a 450 watt amp for both, only actually had 225 watts though. So your friend could very well be correct. -
I think that idea looks great. I use liquid nails (blue & gold tube) one time I glued two pieces of mdf together with it to see how good it held & it pulled the mdf apart. Its def some strong stuff. I still like to resin the outside of my boxes but you wont have any pressure on this piece so it should be fine. the 1" cleats are def a good idea.

I always turn mine down when i pull up to a light and I wait. & when I hear some kid in a civic with the trink deck rattling I crank the sub level. People would give me this disgusted look. I try to respect people, but sometimes temptation gets the best of me. I cant wait to finish my current install. Can anyone say... "Yes officer?"

250-300 rms? so they will actually take 500 to 600 watts. I think something like 1200 watts would be better because you have a 2.67 or 1.33 ohm load. I think you should probably build a new box, with the right airspace and ports, see how it sounds and if you want more throw a bigger amp on them. A properly sized box will sound so much better than a box thats not to spec.

My high school shop teacher had me & another kid build him a box for 2 15's that he was gonna run in his house. We built it out of 3/4" particle board & even predrilled we had problems with it splitting. I think brad nails and a good coat of resin would hold it fine. But a bead of liquid nails on the joints would probably be better. I also think some computer fans to move the air around would help a lot with the heat.
